Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme: Books With a Unit of Time in the Title (minutes, hours, days, months, years, etc.)
For my unit of time I decided to go with the month of June.
June 29, 1999 by David Wiesener
A Day in June by Marisa Labozzetta
It Started in June by Susan Kietzman
The June Boys by Court Stevens
A June of Ordinary Murders by Conor Brady
To the End of June by Cris Beam
The Sixteenth of June by Maya Lang
Seven Days in June by Tia Williams
June But by Chris Fabry
On Juneteenth by Annette Gordon-Reed
Happy Reading!
A fun meme.

DeleteWhat a great idea for the topic. I just checked, I don't have a single book with June in the title, not even an author called June. But I love your idea.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT this week.
I needed to do something kind of easy this week, so I went with the month of June. ;)
DeleteSounds easy for you. I thought the original idea was easier. As I said, I didn't find a single book with June.
DeleteBut I definitely loved your idea.
I don't think I have any books with June in the title either (though I haven't checked my personal black-hole otherwise known as my Kindle). A unit in time is actually quite a tricky prompt.
ReplyDeleteYour personal black-hole! LOL. That's a good one. :D
DeleteI struggled to come up with 10 books at all so I'm amazed that you focused on just one month! Well done! :)
ReplyDeleteI tried to do other time things, but didn't have much luck finding any good titles. So, I went with the month of June instead and got lucky. :)
DeleteI love your June theme! That's a great way to tackle this week's topic. I don't think I've read any books with June in the title and am surprised there are so many of them!
ReplyDeleteThere were a lot. And they look like good books, too. (Though I've only read the first one.)
DeleteOff hand I can't think of one book with June in the title so congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI got lucky! :)
DeleteTo the End of June was such a good read.

That's one that I really want to read. It does look very good.
DeleteWow, I'm impressed that you could fill this whole list with one month! I didn't even think of using names of months in my list, but I love it!

Thanks! I wasn't sure I could find enough titles, but I did.
DeleteFun! I had no idea there were so many books with "June" in the title. :)
ReplyDeleteMe either until I started creating this list! ;D
DeleteI've not read any of those books but several of them interest me so maybe someday...
ReplyDeleteThere are a few books on this list I want to try, too. :)
DeleteI like that you went with a specific unit of time. I could barely come up with any unit of time, lol. Great choices! :D

I thought it was a tricky prompt, and I almost didn't even try to come up with a list for it, but then I thought about doing months in the title and ended up with ten books with June.
DeleteWhat a great idea to go with a specific month! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Greg! :)
DeleteWow you went very specific! I'm not sure I've ever read a book with "June" in the title......

Apparently, if you ever want to read a book with June in the title there are lots to choose from. :)
DeleteJuneteenth, indeed. Lovely theme!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I had fun doing it. :)
DeleteWow, you did a great job!!! Might have to steal this idea for another time!!!
ReplyDeleteSteal away! I'm thinking about doing a "July" list next month. :)
DeleteI'm impressed you found so many books about June! Well done!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure I'd be able to find ten, but I did! :)
DeleteI like how you focused on one month. My list was kind of all over the place, lol.
ReplyDeleteI liked the variety of titles on your list! I feel like you did a better job with this one than I did. :)
DeleteWow, who knew there were so many titles with the word "June" in the title? Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Kind of crazy, huh? I'm going to see how many "July" titles I can find next month. :)

Thank you! And thanks for commenting. :)
DeleteFun topic, interesting list!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cathy. I liked how different all these 'June' books are.
DeleteThis is awesome! And I love that you included June 29, 1999 -- I read that with my kids so many times!!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite picture books. :)
DeleteWow. I never noticed there were so many June titles!
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of crazy, isn't it? But fun! :)
