DeleteGreat reviews! So interesting the way you do this and always manage to convey so much with so little!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Sometimes the syllable count doesn't quite come out right, but I do my best to keep it short and succinct. :D
DeleteLark, you might be the only one who would notice :)

DeleteAs always your Haiku reviews are amazing, but I also like the books you mention!
ReplyDeleteKind regards,
Just one little question, what is Renfaire? Is that something typical American? I do not think I ever heard of it.
DeleteKind regards,
So, in many parts of America, even where I live, they put on these weeklong Renaissance Faires that are all things medieval. They sell jewelry and turkey legs, and have jousting events, and other performers, and people dress up and go wander around. They're a lot of fun. And this series of cute romances by Jen DeLuca are set at one of these Renaissance Faires.
DeleteI must look up The Light in Hidden Places as it sounds like my kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good! What she and her sister did, and what they survived, is just so remarkable.
