I like this, Lark! I think I might have seen the verse with another line added (probably not from the author) - something like 'now I just have to read them!'. Ha!
I remember that poem from one of my sons' children's books and it was great then, still great today where my TBR pile is even higher than then - and the pile of those that I read even bigger. The painting goes really well with it, as well. Thanks for making my day.

ReplyDeleteThat line makes the quote even better! :D
DeleteI love that quote so much! And that painting is gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that painting, too.
DeleteSo many of us can identify with that sentiment. LOL!
ReplyDeleteRight? :D
DeleteNice graphic. Wonder how the artists would depict ebook reading!
ReplyDeleteThe picture would lose something without all those stacks and stacks of books everywhere. ;D
DeleteSo true!!!
ReplyDeleteThat painting reminds me of stained glass.
ReplyDeleteYES!!! Love the poem!!! I think I need it, LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteNice one!
ReplyDeleteThat painting is beautiful. And the poem is perfect. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBoth the art and the quote are great. And I'm afraid the quote is way true of me, too...
ReplyDeleteTrue for all of us, I think. :D

DeleteI love that.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors! And it reminds me of stained glass as well.
ReplyDeleteLovely painting and poem combo! I was more intrigued by the lamp shade, though; it seems not a perfect lamp to read under. :))
ReplyDeleteThe art goes with the poem perfectly! I love it!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to be reminded of Arnold Lobel. I remember reading the Frog and Toad books to my son.
ReplyDeleteLove this!!
ReplyDeleteAh yes! I love that quote and the artwork. It makes my bookish heart smile.
ReplyDeleteI love that quote. So true!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture. Somehow it reminds me of a Tiffany lamp with all the colors. :)
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a Tiffany lamp!
DeleteOh I love the quote and the art! I love the stained glass look of the art especially.
ReplyDeleteThat would make a great poster for a personal library! And, the quote is wonderful too!
ReplyDeleteLovely book art!! And the quote is perfect for a book lover/hoarder like myself.
