  3. I love these tiny wrap ups. Caroline always depresses me because it’s that last book my mom was reading before she passed. Did you like it?

    1. I did really like Caroline. But then I'm such a fan of the Little House books, I was predisposed to like it. ;D

(And I'm sorry to hear about your mom. It sucks to lose the ones you love, doesn't it? My dad passed in June and I miss him everyday!)

  4. I love your Haiku reviews. I was so-so on Caroline. I'm a huge Little House fan, but I think I was looking for more in the book than just a retread of Little House on the Prairie. I wish it would have been about more of her life including the parts not in the Little House books.

    1. I can see that. Miller did stick to the Little House on the Prairie adventure pretty closely. (And she was very detailed about it!) I was wishing Caroline's story had covered a few more years, too. :)

    1. Yes! I wish this book had delved a little more into her life before meeting Charles; that would be fun to know. :)
