This week's theme is BOOKISH GOALS FOR 2024...which I've already posted about. But, one of my bookish goals this year is to read more nonfiction. So here are 10 Nonfiction Books I Hope to Read in 2024 instead:

I rarely read nonfiction but I think I've one or two copies on my TBR pile, such as "Surrounded by Psychopaths" by Thomas Erikson.

I'm hoping to read The Next Everest sometime this year. And I'll have to see of my library has Surrounded by Psychopaths. That sounds like an interesting book.

DeleteGreat list! I love reading nonfiction. It seems like I tend to enjoy reading nonfiction more these days than reading fiction.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I can read nonfiction when I can't settle in to a fiction book. But they have to be really well written.
DeleteOutlandish by Nick Hunt is on my list of nonfiction to read also. I hope I get to it this year, although I have a hard time getting myself to read nonfiction.
ReplyDeleteOutlandish looks like a lot of fun. And it's hard to fit in nonfiction books when you're juggling so many fiction books. At least it is for me.

ReplyDeleteIt should be easy to read ten nonfiction books in a year, but there's always so many more fiction books I want to read that sometimes the nonfiction titles on my list end up getting shoved to the back. But I'm hoping to do better this year.

ReplyDeleteIt shouldn't be hard to fit in ten nonfiction books. I actually have more on my list, but I struggle to fit them in with all the fiction books I want to read. But I'm hoping to do better this year.

DeleteI've really slacked off on nonfiction lately, haven't read one this year yet at all, but some of these look really good. I've requested an ARC of My Side of the River but haven't heard back yet on that one, and I find Outlandish and Hearts of Darkness particularly interesting. I'll look for those - and can't wait for you to tell us what you think of them.

DeleteWow nonfiction eh? My Side of the River and I Know Who You Are look good. It's so good now that mass killers are being identified thru DNA databases. That Long Island guy too.

DeleteReading more non-fiction is a great goal! I very rarely read non-fiction, but there are a bunch of books I'm interested in and really should make time for. I picked up a copy of Deaf Utopia last year and haven't started it yet, but I really do want to read it! Good luck!
