Haiku Reviews...

Love at First Book by Jenn McKinlay

Em's Irish adventure:
meet favorite author, fall for her
grumpy bookseller son.

Contemporary romance .... 324 pages .... 4/5 stars.
(This one made me laugh and cry.)

Until The End of the World by Sarah Lyons Fleming

A deadly outbreak
forces Cass and her five friends
to fight for their lives.

Survival fiction .... 392 pages .... 4.5/5 stars.
(An apocalpyse, zombies, and a heroine who's a prepper--all things I love to read about.)

On Her Watch by Melinda Leigh

Three bodies and a
missing girl have Bree and Matt
hunting a killer.

Mystery .... 303 pages .... 5/5 stars.
(While the investigation is good, it's these characters I really love.)

Love in Disguise by Dana LeCheminant

She needs a fake fiancé.
He wants a different life. Can
old friends find new love?

Romance .... 369 pages .... 4/5 stars.
(I loved Kit's and Skyler's second chance romance.)

Happy Reading!

    1. I really love Until the End of the World. But then you know I'm always drawn to these kind of dystopian apocalyptic reads. :D

  7. I've missed these reviews, Lark. I'm so far behind on writing reviews that I really need to learn to do this as effectively as you pull it off.

    1. Short reviews work for me because I never seem to have a lot to say about a book...unlike you. You always have thoughtful things to say about the books you read. So that's probably why it's harder for you to write something as short as these haiku reviews.

  10. Your haikus are always fantastic. You should offer your talent to publishers. Your reviews are better than any of the excerpts on the back of the books by newspapers claiming how fantastic or brilliant or whatever the book is.
