Top Ten Tuesday...

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's theme is COVERS WITH AN ITEM OF YOUR CHOICE ON THE COVER.

And I decided to go with CLOCKS. Because I just had to change all of mine...again. And could we please choose one time, either Daylight or Standard, and stick with it? I'm so tired of having to change my clocks, both inner and outer, twice a year. But these covers with clocks on them are kind of awesome.

Hooked by Emily McIntire

The Midnight Bargain by C.L. Polk

Timekeeper by Tara Sim

The Betrayals by Bridget Collins

The Love Proof by Madeleine Henry

The Watchmaker's Daughter by C.J. Archer

The Clockmaker's Daughter by Kate Morton

Bellman & Black by Diane Setterfield

The Secret of the Old Clock by Carolyn Keene

Happy Reading!

    1. Right? Pick a time people and stick with it! Switching back and forth just feels so unnecessary. Plus, it makes me tired. ;D

  2. I love your theme! I'm so sick of changing the clocks (and complaining about it twice a year!) The Midnight Bargain was such a great book, and it makes me smile to see the Nancy Drew book. Great post!

  5. Ohhh, clocks is a good one! I wish that the clocks didn't fall back in real life because my kids are a mess! haha.

    1. Right? It totally messes up children's routines; I work in an elementary school and the kids have been complaining about being hungry and tired all week.

    1. I almost did fall leaves on the cover, but then I thought of clocks and knew it was what I had to do. A little bookish inspiration. ;D

  9. A great item to feature this week! Time changes need to go away! I hate it being dark before dinner.

    1. I hate that, too! And I hate how it throws my sleep off even more. Boo to changing times twice a year. ;D

  10. I love all those clock covers! I've read The Seven Dials Mystery, The Clockmaker's Daughter and Bellman & Black. I wish we could just stick with one time too - it seems so unnecessary to keep changing.

  14. Ooooh, I ALMOST did this same topic! I love it.

Fun fact: We don't do Daylight Savings time in Arizona. It's really nice not to have to worry about that at all.

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

  19. I just don't even bother changing the time on my clocks that don't change on their own (which most of the clocks in my house are connected to the internet so they update automatically). It confuses me when my husband eventually changes the time on the microwave though, because I'm usually accustomed to adjusting for the house difference at that point.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier this week. - Katie

  21. I love this topic and didn't realize how much I love clocks on a cover until I was looking through this list! I have the Kate Morton and have read the Nancy Drew countless times but haven't read any of the others!
PS - saw your comment on my blog. The possum was the absolute sweetest and so affectionate. I liked hanging out with him about as much as the wolves!
