The Iron Druid series is the best!ReplyDelete
I'm really enjoying it. :)Delete
The Captain's Wallflower haiku made me laugh! I just read my first book by Kevin Hearne recently Ink & Sigil and have scheduled a review for August. I guess I should try his other urban fantasy series. :)ReplyDelete
I didn't know Hearne had started a new series. I like the way he writes. :)Delete
Your haiku reviews are always so fun to read. :)ReplyDelete
:D Thanks, Melody!Delete
Hounded is one of those books I keep telling myself I need to read. It sounds like a fun one. :)ReplyDelete
I enjoyed it a lot and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.Delete
well done, as usual. Those are almost one-sentence short stories, aren't they?ReplyDelete
Thanks! Some plots are easier to sum up in one sentence than others. :)Delete
Who needs to write long reviews when your haikus say all that needs to be said. LOLReplyDelete
I do them when I'm feeling lazy and I don't want to write a long review...which seems to be quite often these days. ;DDelete
Lots of variety! I have about 10 books I still need to review. I should do some haiku reviews instead :) Love these!ReplyDelete
You should do some haiku reviews! I'd love to read them. :DDelete
I've heard such great things about the Iron Druid series. Are you going to continue and read all of them?ReplyDelete
That's my plan! Of course, I don't have the second book yet, but I hope to get it soon. :)Delete
Hounded sounds really good!ReplyDelete
It's a fun read, especially if you like urban fantasy. :)Delete
Jungle sounds like it would be a good book.ReplyDelete
Books like that are the only way I'll probably ever get to travel to the Amazon. :)Delete
1. I love these reviews. This is such a fun and creative approach to mini reviews!ReplyDelete
2. Jungle sounds fantastic!
Thanks! And I love books that are set in the Amazon rain forest. Jungle is a pretty good read. I also really loved Lost in the Amazon and the Lost City of Z.Delete
Brevity is the soul of wit.ReplyDelete
Ooooo! Hounded! I like the sound of that one.ReplyDelete
It's a very entertaining urban fantasy read. :)Delete
Another fun set of reviews! I especially liked the one for The Captain's Wallflower.ReplyDelete
Some haikus are easier to write than others. :)Delete
An Urban fantasy?? I’ve never heard of that before. 🙂ReplyDelete
Think of the TV shows Supernatural or Charmed. Urban fantasies have magic and spells and creatures like vampires or werewolves but the story itself is usually set in a modern urban setting. :)Delete
Yay for starting Iron Druid! One of my favorite series'! Great reviews, Lark! Happy to hear your library is opening up to curbside pickups! :)ReplyDelete
I really liked Hounded and am very excited to keep reading in the series. Atticus is a very cool character. :)Delete
I need to read more Iron Druid books. I remember it being really funny!ReplyDelete
I really liked the first one. :)Delete
I HAVE to start the Iron Druid series. I know I'll love it.ReplyDelete
Hounded was a really fun read. I'll definitely be reading the other books in this series. :)ReplyDelete
I love the haiku reviews!ReplyDelete
