This week's theme is supposed to be "Books I was Super Excited to Get My Hands on but Still Haven't Read." Only I wasn't feeling this one; so I decided to go rogue and do my own thing instead.
Here's my list of 10 Favorite Books Read in May Over the last 10 Years. It was actually really fun to go back to 2013 and continue forward to 2023 and see what books I was reading each May...my very own bookish walk down memory lane. (And if any of these books interest you, I've included a link to my original review posts.)

DeleteThat was a good "substitute" list, quite varied, too. Of the ten, the only one I've read is The Uncommon Reader. That was one of my favorites that year, and turned me on to the author for the first time.

DeleteGreat substitution, Lark! I wouldn't mind working up this topic! I loved An Inquiry into Love and Death and also A Merciful Secret! There's a few here I'd love to look into. I just clicked over to The Twenty-Ninth Day and remembered that that was a biography I'd like to read. I'll have to see if they have it at my library! :)

DeleteI'm on the waitlist for the audio of Nora Goes Off Script so I'm glad to see it on your favorites list as well as the Simone St James. I haven't heard much about her earlier titles but they all sound good and I have that one in particular on my TBR.
