  1. These all sound charming! The single dad romance sounds very sweet, and I like the idea of the other two as well -- cryptids and an island setting! Making a note of all three...

  2. All of these books sound so good! Love and Other Conspiracies has me especially intrigued because I've always been fascinated by cryptids. :)

    1. Me, too! And their differing viewpoints on whether or not such cryptids could really exist was humorous.

  6. Weird that two of the book covers don't have faces. I've seen that's kind of a trend. I enjoyed Love and Other Conspiracies, but the romance fell a little flat for me. I'm sure it's a me thing! :)

    1. Yeah, I don't love this faceless trend that's showing up on romance covers lately, and it's everywhere. And I debated between giving Love and Other Conspiracies 3.5 or 4 stars, but settle on 4 in the end. It's not a perfect romance, but I did think it was fun.

  7. Love the haikus! I like the cover for Love and Other Conspiracies (plus the topic) probably makes that the one for me, though Reel Love sounds fun too.

  9. Am I too old or too out of touch? I did not know what cryptids meant, and now I know what cryptozoology is. So I Iearned something already today.

The faceless thing is weird on the covers, although I did not notice until I saw that comment.

    1. I don't love the faceless thing on book covers. And I don't think cryptids is used very much...certainly not in normal conversation. But in books? It's kind of fun. ;D

    1. Overwhelmed and exhausted totally describes my state of mind in November...hence the large number of romances I've been reading lately. ;D
