These all sound charming! The single dad romance sounds very sweet, and I like the idea of the other two as well -- cryptids and an island setting! Making a note of all three...
ReplyDeleteI know they all made me smile. :D
DeleteAll of these books sound so good! Love and Other Conspiracies has me especially intrigued because I've always been fascinated by cryptids. :)
ReplyDeleteMe, too! And their differing viewpoints on whether or not such cryptids could really exist was humorous.
DeleteThese sound good and a fun post.
ReplyDelete:D Thank you, Mary.
DeleteI'm intrigued by "Love and Other Conspiracies." Adding it to my list.
ReplyDeleteIt's a romance that made me laugh. I loved their hunt for the strange.
DeleteThe first one looks good.

It is SO good!
DeleteI really enjoyed One Last Play, I have not read the other two, but I love your Haiku's!
ReplyDeleteHi, Cindy! Thanks for turning me onto Annah Conwell's books. I look forward to reading more of them. :D
DeleteWeird that two of the book covers don't have faces. I've seen that's kind of a trend. I enjoyed Love and Other Conspiracies, but the romance fell a little flat for me. I'm sure it's a me thing! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't love this faceless trend that's showing up on romance covers lately, and it's everywhere. And I debated between giving Love and Other Conspiracies 3.5 or 4 stars, but settle on 4 in the end. It's not a perfect romance, but I did think it was fun.
DeleteLove the haikus! I like the cover for Love and Other Conspiracies (plus the topic) probably makes that the one for me, though Reel Love sounds fun too.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed both of them. But then I've been in a mood for happy endings and lighter reads lately.
DeleteLove the sound of Love and Other Conspiracies! You had me at cryptids! LOL!
ReplyDeleteCryptids is always a draw for me, too. I just wish sometimes actual cryptids showed up in the books! ;D
DeleteAm I too old or too out of touch? I did not know what cryptids meant, and now I know what cryptozoology is. So I Iearned something already today.
ReplyDeleteThe faceless thing is weird on the covers, although I did not notice until I saw that comment.
I don't love the faceless thing on book covers. And I don't think cryptids is used very much...certainly not in normal conversation. But in books? It's kind of fun. ;D
DeleteThese both look so cute and like nice happy reads for this time of year when I'm overwhelmed and exhausted!
ReplyDeleteOverwhelmed and exhausted totally describes my state of mind in November...hence the large number of romances I've been reading lately. ;D
