DeleteTeeth of the Sea! That one looks kinda fun from a cryptid gone wild kinda way. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a perfect description! :D
DeleteThe premise of Ruth Ware's books always grab me but never quite live up to my expectations. But I'll probably keep reading them. They are perfect vacation/beach/plane trip reads.
ReplyDeleteThe first Ruth Ware book I read fell a little flat for me, too. But I thought this one was better. Which gives me hope for her future books. :D
DeleteI still need to read Ghost Mine but I loved Teeth of the Sea!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun. And there was a pretty good body count, too!

DeleteI'll request the audio of Ruth Ware's book seeing you enjoyed it more than The Woman in Cabin 10, that was at best a 3 star read for me, so I didn't add Mrs. Westaway. Love the format of reviews here. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel! Yeah, I didn't love The Woman in Cabin 10 either. But I thought The Death of Mrs. Westaway was a lot better. Fingers crossed you do, too. :)
DeleteYay for the haiku reviews! Can you believe I still haven't read that book by Ruth Ware? :-o
ReplyDeleteWell, I just barely read it, so don't feel too bad. :)
DeleteI was really irritated by Woman in Cabin 10. But yours is not the only positive review I hear about Mrs. Westaway, maybe it will be a good read))))
ReplyDeleteI didn't love The Woman in Cabin 10; in fact, I thought the plot was pretty obvious and predictable. But I liked The Death of Mrs. Westaway a lot more. It's definitely a better read.
