(Lorret's nod to...and quotes from...Jane Austen's Emma throughout this book made it even more fun; it's my guilty pleasure of the month.)

      I liked that it wasn't predictable, or a plot I'd read several times before. And I liked Anna, the main narrator, a lot. :)

    Daniel Silva is one of those authors whose name I know but I've never read his books nor did I know they were spy novels. I went through a Le Carre phase many years ago but since then haven't read too many. :D

      I'm not a huge spy fan, but I really love Silva's main character Gabriel Allon, who's an assassin, but also an art restorer. I think The Confessor is my favorite because of the holocaust connection. But I've really enjoyed most of his books. :)

    Love your haiku reviews. Maybe I need to do some so I can catch up with my backlog of books to review! :) I'll have to check out the Lorret book. Every once in a while I really enjoy a fun romance.
