Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by
That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's theme: Books From My Favorite Genre. Which was a little tricky because I have more than one. But after debating between disaster/survival reads, urban fantasy, ghost stories, romantic suspense and psychological thrillers, I decided to go with.... (drumroll, please) ....
My 10 Favorite Psychological Thrillers! Here they are:
5. This one's a tie between two books by Donato Carrisi:
And because ten wasn't enough to list all my favorites, here are five of my runners up:
Happy Reading!
So I read Sister some time ago and really liked it. It was an impulse grab from the library and I'm glad I gave it a chance. Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Barb! :D
Delete:) Some of favorite books and authors, but even better--new suggestions of books and authors that are new to me! Thanks, Lark!
ReplyDelete:D Any time.
DeleteAlmost all of those are new to me, and I consider myself a fan of the genre so that kind of surprises me. Thanks for some new, reader-tested ones for me to take a look at.
ReplyDeleteIf you do decide to read any of these, let me know what you think. :)
DeleteSister does sound interesting!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
Sister is a great read!
DeleteI love S.J. Bolton's books! I hope she'll have a new Lacey Flint book out soon. And I've only read two or three books from your list; need to check out the rest. :)
ReplyDeleteI keep hoping for a new Lacey Flint book, too. :)
DeleteWhat a great idea for a list! I almost never read thrillers, as they are too scary for me. But I have read a couple of these, and they were great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting. :)
DeleteGreat list! I don't often read psychological thrillers, but I do love the Lacey Flint books.
ReplyDeleteThey're great, aren't they? I think I first started reading them because of a review I saw on your blog. So thanks! :D
DeleteI need to read more psychological thrillers. So many of these books sound good! I'll be adding quite a few of them to my wishlist. :)
ReplyDeleteI think these are all worth reading, so hopefully you find some that you love, too. :)
DeleteI love psychological thrillers and can always use new recommendations, so yay! Now You See Me, Good as Gone and The Never List look good to me, just judging from the covers haha- i'll need to check these out. :)
ReplyDeleteThose three are really good! And their endings really blew me away. :)
DeleteNice list. I tend to really psychological thrillers when I read them (which isn't as often as it could be). Some of these sound really good
ReplyDeleteI liked them. :) Thanks for commenting.
DeleteGreat list! I've only read your top two so far. I think my list would definitely include Ill Will by Dan Chaon and ubiquitous as it may be, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.
ReplyDeleteThose are two books I haven't read. Though it sounds like I should. :)
DeleteI've only read a couple on your runner-up list: Find Her and Into the Black Nowhere. Loved them! Must check out your favs. :)
ReplyDeleteThey were both great reads, weren't they? The Edge of Normal and Color Blind have a similar feel; I think you'd like both books. :)
DeletePsychological thriller is a genre I don’t read often enough. I’ll keep these books in mind next time I’m in the mood for something fast-paced.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
They do all read fast...and they keep you guessing, too. :)
DeleteS.J. Bolton is one of my faves! I need to catch up on her series. Lots of titles I need to check out.
ReplyDeleteBolton's books are great, aren't they? I still need to read her latest.
DeleteI bought the never list about five years ago I think but never got round to reading it! I will eventually!
ReplyDelete:) I hope you like it as much as I did.
DeleteI love me a good psychological thriller, but I've actually only read a couple of these. There are some books and authors on your list that I definitely need to try.
ReplyDeleteLet me know if there's an awesome thriller out there that I should add to my list. :)
