Haiku Reviews...

Burning Bright (Peter Ash Novel #2) by Nick Petrie

She's smart. She's tough. And
she's in trouble. Luckily,
Peter's there to help.

Action/Thriller .... 416 pages .... 5/5 stars.
(Even better than The Drifter, the first book in this series.)

Hidden Creed (#6) by Alex Kava

Ryder and Grace find
several shallow graves in the
woods; danger follows.

K-9 Mystery .... 332 pages .... 4.5/5 stars.
(Still loving this series!)

Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King

Each month a full moon.
Each month a new attack. Man
or wolf? No one knows.

Horror .... 127 pages .... 3.5/5 stars.

Happy Reading!

  3. Stephen King is a great storyteller, but I haven't been able to read many of his books- they keep me from sleeping well! I didn't know he'd written a werewolf one, and one with Bernie Wrightson illustrations must've been a real treat to read (I think they're fantastic).

    1. It was a fun book. And I know what you mean about King's books keeping you from sleeping well. They sometimes do that to me, too. :)

  4. The Stephen King was a fun read for me some years ago. Unusual for him. LOL I like the sound of Hidden Creed.

  6. These cut to the chase, don't they? I'm always surprised at how few words it takes for you to give a good sense of what's inside the books. Great job, as usual!

  7. Yes! I agree the second book was even better than the first. I have the third one already downloaded and ready to go. Must try the Alex Kava book. Love your Haiku reviews! :)
