Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme is supposed to be Most Recent Additions to My Book Collection. But I decided to tweak it and do Ten Books from my TBR Shelf that I'm Planning on Reading this Year instead.
1. This Poison Will Remain by Fred Vargas
2. Called Into Action by Paris Wynters
3. Locked In by Kerry Wilkinson
4. Hope's Highest Mountain by Misty M. Beller
5. Sons of Evagard by Sean Danker
6. Breakdown by Bruno Miller
7. Dark Magic by Adam Wright
8. Home With the Dead by P.J. Dziekan
9. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
10. Deadly Engagement by Lucinda Brant
Happy Reading!
The Midnight Library is one I'm planning to read this year too. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you think of it...and what I think of it, too. :)
DeleteLooks like a tempting list - I've only read The Midnight Library. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYes to the Midnight Library.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fun, doesn't it?
DeleteI haven't read any of those, but they seem to promise a lot of good reading.
ReplyDeleteIf they're not I'll at least be able to get them off my shelves and make room for new books. :)
DeleteLooks like you have some thrilling reads ahead. Fun! I haven't read any of these books, so I look forward to your reviews.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they'll be good enough that I want to review them all! Otherwise... ;D
DeleteGood decision, Lark. I also tweaked mine and listed bookish Christmas presents on my TTT this week.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reads.
Nice. Can't wait to check out your TTT list. :)
DeleteEnjoy your books, Lark! Only one I've read is The Midnight Library, but I've mentioned more than once that I really liked it.
ReplyDeleteYay! One person who really liked The Midnight Library. You give me hope that I'll like it, too. :)
DeleteThat looks like an entertaining and pleasantly varied bundle of books! I hope you are able to read them all this year.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, too! It's why I signed up for your Backlist Reader Challenge this year. :)
Delete"Midnite Library" looks sort of interesting... don't know much about zombies tho...
ReplyDeleteZombie books can be fun every once in awhile. :)
DeleteThe Midnight Library was not my favorite, but it's definitely an interesting read. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/most-recent-additions-to-my-book-collection-winter-book-haul/
ReplyDeleteSo many people have said that about The Midnight Library. Thanks for commenting! :)
DeleteThe Midnight Library by Matt Haig seems to be very popular. I hope you enjoy reading all of these.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten Tuesday list this week.
Thanks. I'm hoping they all end up to be good reads, too. :)
DeleteThe only book on your list I've read is The Midnight Library. It is quite good, though it did disappoint me in a few ways, too.
ReplyDeleteThat seems to be main opinion of that book. Which is too bad. Matt Haig is a favorite author of mine.
DeleteLots to choose from...our shelves are a goldmine, aren't they. Of the ten, I've only read The Midnight Library...but wasn't thrilled with it, so I'll be curious to see what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteI do like Matt Haig, but I know a lot of people who said they didn't love The Midnight Library. I'll let you know what I think when I get it read. :)
DeleteLooks like a great lineup! THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY was my first read of last year and I actually didn't love it. I hope you enjoy it better than I did. Enjoy all these.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Yeah, I've read several mixed reviews of The Midnight Library; some people love it, and a lot of others didn't. But I like Matt Haig, so...
DeleteGood luck getting through all of these! I loved The Midnight Library -- I hope you do too!
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping I love it, too! I am a big fan of Matt Haig. :)
DeleteIt looks like you've collected a good bunch of books lately!
ReplyDeleteAnd this list is only a quarter of the books I have sitting unread on my shelves! I really need to do a better job this year of reading the books I own. :)
DeleteI think the last Adamsberg book I read was book 6, the Quebec one. Such a brilliant series which I must get back to.
ReplyDeleteI love this series! Adamsberg is such a unique and quirky character. :)
DeleteI have not heard of most of these. I have The Midnight Library on my TBR list and hope to get to it this year. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHopefully we'll both like The Midnight Library! :)
DeleteNice list. I read The Midnight Library last year and just loved it. I hope you do too! I can't wait to see your review of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear you loved The Midnight Library. Several people have told me that they didn't, so I've been a little worried. :)
DeleteLooks like a nice mix- I see a few there I wouldn't mind trying. :)
ReplyDeleteI like having a lot of different genres to choose from on my shelves...because then I have a book for to match any mood.
DeleteNice bunch of mixed genres. Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting! :)
DeleteIt looks like you have a great lineup of books you're planning to read. I hope you enjoy them all. :)
ReplyDeleteThey all look like fun reads, I don't know why I keep putting off reading them.
DeleteI hope you read each and every one of these this year and enjoy them! I have only read The Midnight Library from your list.
ReplyDeleteI'm really going to try to read all of these this year. It shouldn't be that hard...but I am easily distracted by library books. ;D
DeleteBreakdown and Home With the Dead look interesting. I look forward to your thoughts, Lark! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel! Fingers crossed I manage to read all of these books this year. :)
DeleteThese look good! I hope you find that time to read them!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm going to make a real effort to get at least these ten books from my shelves read this year.
DeleteI haven't read The Midnight Library yet even though I've enjoyed his other books, I just never get round to it.
ReplyDeleteI love Matt Haig's other books, which is why I want to read The Midnight Library. I just haven't gotten around to it yet either. Thanks for commenting! :)
DeleteI hope you'll enjoy reading them all when you get to them, Lark! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope I actually get to them this year! ;D
