Summit's Edge by Sara Driscoll
When a hijacked plane
crashes, Meg and Hawk join the
risky mountain search.
An FBI K-9 Mystery .... 308 pages .... 4.5/5 stars.
(One of my favorite mystery series!)
A Quantum Love Story by Mike Chen
Boom! Then time resets.
They're stuck in a loop. Why?!
And how do they get out?
Science Fiction .... 346 pages .... 3.5/5 stars.
(Great beginning. But I felt the story lost some momentum in the middle. And while I liked the ending, I didn't love it. Still a good read.)
Under Loch and Key by Lana Ferguson
She finds family
in Scotland along with a
curse, magic, and love.
Paranormal romance .... 386 pages .... 4/5 stars.
(Key and Lachlan's romance is full of sparks, lots of spice, and the Loch Ness monster, too. It's a fun one.)
Happy Reading!
I so love your haiku reviews. Summits Edge got my attention.
ReplyDeleteThat whole series is great! I think you'd like it. :D
DeleteThanks for the concise haiku reviews!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to write long reviews, so I have to stick with these. ;D
DeleteUnder Loch and Key sounds like it might be my kind of book. I love the haiku reviews.

DeleteYou are so good at these!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cindy!
DeleteA Quantum Love Story sounds interesting, so I'm sorry to hear it lost its momentum!
ReplyDeleteIt just slows down in the middle and the ending isn't super suspenseful. But I still liked it and thought the whole idea was an interesting one.
DeleteI always look forward to your haiku reviews. And now you've given me three more potential additions to my reading list.
ReplyDeleteThat's what fellow book bloggers are for! ;D
DeleteI love these short reviews! Summit's Edge sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteIt was really good. But then I think the whole series is a great one. I love the characters...and the dogs! :D
DeleteNice selection. Summit's Edge would be for me. I'm fairly sure the Quantum 'loop' book would drive me insane. ;-D
ReplyDeleteThem reliving the time loop day after day is where the A Quantum Love Story starts to lose momentum. But the characters are great in it, and I liked his writing. But I do agree, Summit's Edge is definitely more your style of read. It's a series I think you'd like. :D
DeleteI always look forward to your haiku reviews! Summit's Edge sounds really good. I love books featuring K-9s. :D
ReplyDeleteMe, too! And this series is a good one. :D
DeleteAwesome haikus! I might check out Loch & Key, and Quantum Love Story has been on my list for a while now.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed both books. :D
DeleteUnder Loch and Key looks like a book I really need to read. Summit's Edge also looks like one I'd enjoy. Great Haikus though not so good for keeping my TBR manageable!
ReplyDelete:D Every blog I visit seems to add to my own TBR list... including yours.
DeleteGot to go with the K-9 mystery. Love dogs. She has great covers too.
ReplyDeleteI love dogs, too, and the ones in Driscoll's books are so great.
DeleteI had fun with Under Loch and Key too. Hope to start that Sara Driscoll series at some point! Too many books, too little time! :)
ReplyDeleteI know that refrain well! It's the story of my reading life. ;D
DeleteHappy Monday. I hope you’re well. Love you friend.

ReplyDelete:D Under Loch and Key was a lot of fun...as long as you don't mind a little spice.
