DeleteVacation is a song that I had liked but I never got the lyrics correct. Cruel Summer - a great summer song. I think any song can be a summer song if they have a fund melody.

DeleteAwesome summer playlist. I've always been a Beach Boys fan--I even saw them in person at Mile Hi stadium in Denver once upon a time!
ReplyDeleteI love the Beach Boys! They used to come to Utah on tour all the time. I got to see them once with a group of friends and it was a blast. :D

Bryan Adams is great! I got to see him in concert once and it was so fun. And I've done beach read posts and summery covers, and posts about summer romances before, so I felt like I needed to go in a different direction with this TTT. Glad it worked out.

DeleteHis concerts were absolutely the best. I own most of his albums plus some singles in vinyl and/or CD. And I must have watched The Jazz Singer about a hundred times!!!!
He's written so many great songs! He's definitely in a class all his own. :D

DeleteI love your unique spin on the prompt! I love a good summer ballad. My favorite from this list is probably Endless Summer Nights. Anything from the Beach Boys also sounds like summer to me.

DeleteSuch a great list. I love Cruel Summer and Vacation. I remember doing a talent show school performance to vacation once. I also really enjoy Summertime Sadness by Lana del Ray.

DeleteWow great list. It's hard to beat: Cruel Summer (so good) and Boys of Summer (so iconic) ... I haven't been able to think of anymore off the top of my head. Okay wait I got one: "Summer's Almost Gone" by the Doors ... ha ha. It's a bit eerie.
