    1. I love Armstrong's Rockton series; I'm only sad she's ending it. But she is starting a new series with her two main characters from it, so I'm eagerly awaiting that one next year. :D

  7. The only author on your list who is familiar to me is Ragnar Jonasson whose writing I have greatly enjoyed. It's great that you found all of these books and writers that you have enjoyed this year.

  15. I like your way of dividing up your favorite books, Lark. Unique and interesting.

    For the Mystery and Thrillers, I haven't read any of the authors but there are several there that I want to try.

    I have only read the first book in the Kelley Armstrong Rockton series, and I liked it a lot. I have books 2 and 3 on my shelves.

  26. I love the Rockston series, but I haven't read past Book 4 I think. Those are intense books, takes some serious gumption too! And thanks for the rec on Burning Bright - will check that out. Happy New Year!

    1. The Rockton books are intense, and sometimes chilling. But they're also really good. And I hope you get a chance to read Burning Bright. It's a fun mix of historical fiction and fantasy. I loved the magic in it. Happy New Year! :D
