Oops...I think I just listed eleven books instead of ten.
Oh, well. These are all fun books involving planes, trains, automobiles & boats.

DeleteWhat is it with book cover illustrations that have blank faces now? I keep seeing more of them, and honestly I find them a bit disturbing. It also strikes me as lazy: couldn't the artist draw a face (ha)?
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of covers now with faceless people! I don't get it...maybe it costs less that way, or maybe the artists they hire can't draw faces? Who knows! ;D

DeleteWhat a fun topic! I was looking at all the road trip books I have on my TBR--there are a lot! I haven't read Drowning, but I have read Falling. I read both the Agatha Christie novels years ago.

DeleteLove the theme! I've enjoyed both those Christies and the Deanna Raybourn. I caught a Christmas train travel mystery earlier this year and a couple golden age of ship travel mysteries, too. Need to try some of these road trip ones you've listed.

DeleteI've read the two Christie books, but that's it from your list. DEATH ON THE NILE is my favorite of the two and, actually, it's my second favorite Christie novel. I enjoyed it and the movie too. Great list!

DeleteI love a good train mystery but for some reason Murder on the Orient Express is not a favourite with me, I don't know why. :-) I liked The Wheel Spins by Ethel Lina White and there's a really good BLCC vintage short story collection, I think it's called Blood on the Tracks.
