Can't wait!

Three of my favorite authors have new books coming out this year and I can't wait! The first one, When Falcons Fall by C.S. Harris comes out on March 1st. This historical mystery series features Sebastian St. Cyr Viscount Devlin, whom I have a bit of a bookish crush on.

Then, on March 8th, Patricia Briggs' latest Mercy Thompson novel, Fire Touched, is being released. This is my favorite urban fantasy series. (Gotta love those werewolves!)

Finally, on April 8th, comes Lost Among the Living by Simone St. James. I absolutely love her novels of ghostly suspense and romance!

See why I have such a bad case of bookish anticipation? Now if only Sharon Bolton would hurry up and write a new Lacey Fling novel life would be complete.

Happy Reading!

  1. I've still only read the first Sebastian St. Cyr book, but I do want to continue with the series. It will be a long time before I get to When Falcons Fall, though! Sharon Bolton does have a new book coming out this summer (Daisy in Chains), but it's not a Lacey Flint one.

    1. At this point I'll take ANY Sharon Bolton novel...even though I'd really like to read another Lacey Flint mystery. Yay, I have another book to look forward to reading this year ... thanks! :)

  2. C.S. Harris will be signing in Houston, if you want to drop in :) We could go on a bookstore binge!

    1. That would be awesome!! Too bad it's not a quicker trip from Utah to Texas or I'd totally take you up on it. You'll have to go to the signing without me and tell me all about it. :)

  3. Oh what fun! I've been curious about the CS Harris novels - thanks for the nudge. My big excitement this year is the new Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling) "Career of Evil" I'm just listening to it on audio book now. I love the narrator and the gritty crime story.

    1. I still need to read her first Galbraith novel; sometimes I feel like I'll never catch up with my reading. :)

  4. Haven't read Briggs or St. James, but both sound good. I've enjoyed several of Harris' series. :)

    1. If you like a good ghost story with suspense and a touch of romance try St. James. I've loved every book of hers that I've read!
