I love these! Especially the Caroline one :) I've been watching Little House like crazy lately and so that haiku put a smile on my face. Thanks, Lark!!
ReplyDeleteIt was your original review that really made me want to read this book, so I should be thanking you! :D
DeleteSo concise! And fun!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I need a break from "real" reviews. :)
DeleteHaha, love these!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteI love these tiny wrap ups. Caroline always depresses me because it’s that last book my mom was reading before she passed. Did you like it?
ReplyDeleteI did really like Caroline. But then I'm such a fan of the Little House books, I was predisposed to like it. ;D
Delete(And I'm sorry to hear about your mom. It sucks to lose the ones you love, doesn't it? My dad passed in June and I miss him everyday!)
I love your Haiku reviews. I was so-so on Caroline. I'm a huge Little House fan, but I think I was looking for more in the book than just a retread of Little House on the Prairie. I wish it would have been about more of her life including the parts not in the Little House books.
ReplyDeleteI can see that. Miller did stick to the Little House on the Prairie adventure pretty closely. (And she was very detailed about it!) I was wishing Caroline's story had covered a few more years, too. :)
DeleteOK, I love these reviews pretty hard core! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! That means a lot. :)
DeleteYour haiku reviews are so great! I've thought about reading both of those urban fantasy series. They both sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteI think the Benedict Jacka series is my favorite! But I really like Cal and his brother, Niko, too. :D
DeleteYay for another haiku reviews! Keep it up, Lark! :)
ReplyDelete:D Thanks, Melody!
DeleteThat cover for Caroline is stunning!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it beautiful?
DeleteYour haiku reviews are so fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan! :)
DeleteI love this idea for review writing! And I'm glad to hear Caroline was good, since I've been wondering whether to add it to my to-read list.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Caroline, but Nadia's review of it is much more complete if you want to know more. :)
DeleteHi Lark, Love your haiku reviews and I hapoen to have a copy of Caroline that i have been meaning to read. I would love to know more about her, she would have a story to tell.
ReplyDeleteYes! I wish this book had delved a little more into her life before meeting Charles; that would be fun to know. :)
DeleteOooh! I love this! How clever!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :)
