Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by
That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's theme is Book Titles With Numbers In Them. I did a very similar post to this several years ago called
Reading By The Numbers where I listed ten book titles with numbers from 1 to 10; I even added a classics version. So, to change it up a little bit today, I decided to choose ten books from my Goodreads "want to read" list that have numbers in their titles. These are some of the books I hope to read this next year:
Seven At Sea by Erik & Emily Orton
The Girls at 17 Swann Street by Yara Zgheib
One Way by S.J. Morden
The Tenth Girl by Sara Faring
Zero Sum Game by S.L. Huang
The Six Sacred Stones by Matthew Reilly
The Seventh Plague by James Rollins
The Tenth Muse by Catherine Chung
The Dinosaur Four by Geoff Jones
The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
Happy Reading!
I've got a lot of unread number titles like The Dinosaur Four and those Matthew Reilly books! I went with number titles I read and liked but there weren't as many to pick from as I thought!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I ended up with so many books on my TBR list that also have numbers in their titles, but I seem to have a ton of them. :D
DeleteI've not read any of these but I have The Tenth Girl on hold and a copy of Evelyn Hardcastle yet to read.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear what you think of them! I'm hoping to read them soon. :)
DeleteI haven't read any any of these books, but the covers are definitely intriguing! Especially "One Way" - space thriller!
ReplyDeleteOne Way does look like fun. :) Thanks for commenting!
DeleteOoh, The Dinosaur Four looks good!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
It's got a great cover, doesn't it?
DeleteThe Tenth Girl tops my list. :)
ReplyDeleteThat one does look good, doesn't it?
DeleteMakes you realize just how many books with numbers in the title are out there. Of these, the only one I'm familiar with is The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I tried that one but just couldn't get into it at all and tossed it about 30 pages in. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it because it sure seems to be doing well.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it just wasn't the right book for you. It happens. :)
DeleteThis is such a fun topic. I didn't realize how many books had numbers in the title. I haven't read any of these, but I'm really interested in The Tenth Girl and The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.
ReplyDeleteHey, Ashley! It's crazy how many books do have numbers in their titles. Both The Tenth Girl and The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle sound really good to me, too. :)
DeleteI hope you enjoy all of these! I loved The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle but haven't read any of the others.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to read the Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle ever since I read your review...I just haven't gotten around to it yet. :)
DeleteThe Tenth Girl is getting a lot of love today. Need to add it to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
It does seem to be very popular. :) Thanks for commenting!
DeleteOoh Seven Sea looks pretty interesting!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday! :)
I'm excited to read that one. I have it on hold. :)
DeleteI've enjoyed James Rollins in the past, but it's been a long time since I've picked up one of his books. I'm interested in hearing what you think of The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I remember reading the blurb at some point and it caught my attention but of course now I have no idea what it's about, lol! :)
ReplyDeleteHa. That happens to me all the time!
DeleteThe Tenth Girl and Zero Sum Game are on my list to read too:-)
ReplyDeleteThey look like fun reads, don't they? :)
DeleteI'm only familiar with Matthew Reilly and James Rollins but I thought a few others look interesting, too. 'One Way' sounds like a good one. :)
ReplyDeleteI think that one looks really good, too. I think it's part of a trilogy.
DeleteI looked on my shelves for titles with numbers in them, and I only found three. :(
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't make for a very long list, does it? :)
DeleteI would be curious to know what you think about The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I read it recently and found it disappointing...though the premise is fantastic and I enjoyed bits and pieces of it.
ReplyDeleteI've heard both good and not-so-good reviews about it...so I'll let you know which side of the book equation I come down on after I read it. :)
DeleteImpressive! I couldn't think of ten books I'd read with numbers in the title. I guess I could have gone for ones I hadn't read, but I skipped TTT this week instead.
ReplyDeleteFun list!
I've been skipping TTT a lot lately because I haven't been able to come up with any good lists, but this one I actually could! :D
DeleteI should go through my TBR shelves and see which books qualify. The Tenth Girl and The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle are both on my pile too. I hope you enjoy all of these when you read them, Lark!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :D
DeleteGreat job! I really want to read The Tenth Girl. Isn't that cover awesome? I need to look into The Tenth Muse. I'm curious about that one.
