Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's theme is a HALLOWEEN FREEBIE.

So, I decided to go with Books with Midnight in the Title because Midnight and Halloween just seem to go together. Have you read any of these? I've read about half of them.

1. The Other Side of Midnight by Simone St. James.

2. Midnight Creed by Alex Kava

3. Midnight Blood by Adam Wright

4. 13 Days to Midnight by Patrick Carman

5. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt

6. Midnight in Chernobyl by Adam Higginbotham

7. What Happens After Midnight by K.L. Walther

8. Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe by Heather Webber

9. The Midnight Line by Lee Child

10. Mist of Midnight by Sandra Byrd

Happy Reading!

  2. Oooh I've not heard of any of these books before so this was a great post idea that I've managed to check out :) I did something similar for my post but with pumpkins...

  3. I've not read any of these, so I looked up my Goodreads list to see if I had any titles with Midnight in them. I found that I had read 8 books, the last was The Midnight Line by Lee Child.

    1. Ooh, I like Lee Child. And I don't think I've read Midnight Line. I need to check that one out. :D Thanks for commenting on my blog.

  4. Love your take and all the Midnight titles. I wasn't aware of that Simone St James. The only one I've read was the Heather Webber which I loved but I see several I'm curious about.

    1. I like that Simone St. James; it's one of her earlier, more ghost-y books. And those are my favs. :D

    1. A lot of authors correlate midnight with spooky, so I guess that's why they went together in my head. :D

  6. I've read only one of the books on your list, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." That was way back in 2009 - seems a lifetime ago - and I confess I don't remember much about it.

    1. I don't remember much about it either, except it had a lot of eccentric people in it and was set in Savannah, Georgia. But I do remember liking it at the time. I wonder if I still would.

    1. I thought The Other Side of Midnight was a good read. But then I really like Simone ST. James's more ghostly books. :D

  8. I've read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and loved it! I've thought of it often over the years.

I listed books I’ve read that involve Halloweenish creatures.

  9. I read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil but it was years ago. I remember liking it, but that is all. I want to read a book by Simone St. James, because she is a Canadian author. Maybe The Other Side of Midnight would be a good one to try.

  14. I listened to The Other Side of Midnight by Simone St. James, but I don't remember it, haha! I love the cover for Mists of Midnight. I'll have to check that one out. Great list here, Lark! :)

  15. How weird to realize that I haven't read any of these! I have read a different book called The Other Side of Midnight -- very 1970s trash fiction, but lots of juicy fun. Very different vibe!!
