Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme is a HALLOWEEN FREEBIE.
So, I decided to go with Books with Midnight in the Title because Midnight and Halloween just seem to go together. Have you read any of these? I've read about half of them.
1. The Other Side of Midnight by Simone St. James.
2. Midnight Creed by Alex Kava
3. Midnight Blood by Adam Wright
4. 13 Days to Midnight by Patrick Carman
5. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt
6. Midnight in Chernobyl by Adam Higginbotham
7. What Happens After Midnight by K.L. Walther
8. Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe by Heather Webber
9. The Midnight Line by Lee Child
10. Mist of Midnight by Sandra Byrd
Happy Reading!

No, I have not read any of them!
ReplyDeleteOooh I've not heard of any of these books before so this was a great post idea that I've managed to check out :) I did something similar for my post but with pumpkins...
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT post - https://justreadjessie.blog/2025/10/28/top-ten-tuesday-halloween-freebie-pumpkins/
I love that you went with pumpkins for this week's TTT! And you found so many great covers, too. :D
DeleteI've not read any of these, so I looked up my Goodreads list to see if I had any titles with Midnight in them. I found that I had read 8 books, the last was The Midnight Line by Lee Child.

Ooh, I like Lee Child. And I don't think I've read Midnight Line. I need to check that one out. :D Thanks for commenting on my blog.
DeleteLove your take and all the Midnight titles. I wasn't aware of that Simone St James. The only one I've read was the Heather Webber which I loved but I see several I'm curious about.
ReplyDeleteI like that Simone St. James; it's one of her earlier, more ghost-y books. And those are my favs. :D
DeleteI have not heard of any of them. I have never thought about Halloween and Midnight going together before. Here is my TT

A lot of authors correlate midnight with spooky, so I guess that's why they went together in my head. :D
DeleteI've read only one of the books on your list, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." That was way back in 2009 - seems a lifetime ago - and I confess I don't remember much about it.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember much about it either, except it had a lot of eccentric people in it and was set in Savannah, Georgia. But I do remember liking it at the time. I wonder if I still would.
DeleteOooo, I like your Halloween theme! I've read and reviewed The Other Side of Midnight by Simone St. James. Here's my review of The Other Side of Midnight by Simone St. James.

I thought The Other Side of Midnight was a good read. But then I really like Simone ST. James's more ghostly books. :D
DeleteI've read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and loved it! I've thought of it often over the years.
ReplyDeleteI listed books I’ve read that involve Halloweenish creatures.
I loved your post with all those different Halloween-ish creatures. So clever. :D
DeleteI read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil but it was years ago. I remember liking it, but that is all. I want to read a book by Simone St. James, because she is a Canadian author. Maybe The Other Side of Midnight would be a good one to try.
ReplyDeleteI love St. James' early novels because they're great ghost stories. :D
DeleteMidnight in Chernobyl was so good! I read that at the beginning of the year.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT for today: https://speedyreadercom.wordpress.com/2025/10/28/halloween-theme-books-with-a-moon/
Appreciate your comment! I really enjoyed Midnight in Chernobyl, too. :D
DeleteGreat list! My favorite would be Midnight Bayou by Nora Roberts. Love it! Happy Tuesday and Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteMidnight Bayou sounds like a good one. :D
DeleteI have not read any of these, but I love the idea of focusing on midnight...I focused on Mistletoe, LOL! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI loved your list! I need to check out all the titles on it because I'm sure there are several that I need to read. ;D
DeleteI haven't even heard of most of these!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a spooky week and a Happy Halloween! 🎃💀👻

I listened to The Other Side of Midnight by Simone St. James, but I don't remember it, haha! I love the cover for Mists of Midnight. I'll have to check that one out. Great list here, Lark! :)
ReplyDeleteHow weird to realize that I haven't read any of these! I have read a different book called The Other Side of Midnight -- very 1970s trash fiction, but lots of juicy fun. Very different vibe!!
