Those beaches look amazing! And those books - such a great selection :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nadia!
DeleteHa, Ha! Perfect matches. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteYour beach pictures make me want to get away now! A Caribbean Mystery was wonderful! Love Agatha Christie! :)
ReplyDeleteI love Agatha Christie, too. She has such clear, beautiful writing. (But I think I'd love her even more on a beach!)
DeleteI love how you matched each book to a beach, so creative!

Thanks! And thanks for stopping by and commenting. :)
DeleteI really like the way you did your post. I'd be reading a shark book on a beach too...
ReplyDeleteRight? It's the perfect place! :D
DeleteI’m partial to the Oregon Coast but that South Carolina beach looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to any beach any where! :)
DeleteI love the way you tweaked this week's theme! I would like to be reading on one of those beaches too. Cannon Beach looks atmospheric in that picture.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Helen! I had fun with this one. :)
DeleteOh goodness, those pictures are really making me want to be on a beach right now! I love how you paired them with a book!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ashley! I really wish I were on a beach right now, too. :)
DeleteI'm really bad about bringing books to the beach and not opening them at all. :) Agatha Christie would make a pretty good beach read, though.
ReplyDeleteI find ocean waves very hypnotic, so I end up not reading very much when I'm at the beach either. But I do always have a book with me just in case. :)
DeleteSuch beautiful beaches! These are all great choices--I can see why you chose them. One of these days I really need to see something by Dorothea Benton Frank.
ReplyDeleteShe's written a lot! (But I've never read her either.)
DeleteThanks for sharing the pics of the beaches. They really make me want to take another vacation. :D And the books sound good, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melody! I'd give anything to be in Maui right now. :)
DeleteBooks & beaches - the perfect pairings! I've only been to Cancun and I absolutely loved it.
ReplyDeleteCancun has the best white-sand beaches! I loved it there, too. :)
DeleteCornwall is definitely on my short list--although I would reread Poldark before, during, and after a visit there! Or Daphne du Maurier.
ReplyDeleteDu Maurier does go along with Cornwall, doesn't she? :)
DeleteOooh, I love your tweak! Cannon Beach is the one I grew up visiting and it's still my favorite. I haven't been to any of the others. Hawaii, yes, but not Maui. I'll have to travel there someday! And Cornwall, YES. Someday ...
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to do a road trip to Oregon next summer and spend lots of days on Cannon Beach. Who knows when I'll be able to afford to go to Cornwall, but I REALLY want to! (And Maui is always a good idea.) :)
