A little bookish fun...

Maureen "Marzi" Wilson has written and illustrated a clever and amusing book of doodles about her experiences growing up and living as an introvert in an extrovert world. Some of her doodles I could totally relate to, others not so much. But they all made me smile.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I loved this one most of all:

Here's to Introverts every where!

Happy Reading!

P.S.  And if you've never read it, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain is amazing! I highly recommend it.

  1. Loved all the illustrations and the messages here. I have not read Quiet, but have heard a lot of good things about it so I'll have to add this onto my reading list.

  2. I haven't read Quiet, either, but as an introvert, I can appreciate the humor of the cartoons!

  7. As an introvert I agree that Santa is one of us! I try not to go ut of the house unless I really have to!

  10. These are great and I liked #2 especially too. Yes, I guess many of us are introverts. I can be social when I have to - better at it than I used to be in my younger days - however, I find it exhausting. Ha! I have to go recover afterwards. I haven't read Quiet, but I've had it for a long time. Must make time to try it.

  11. Haha, that is right, Santa must be an introvert. I know I can be an introvert at times. I feel like I need that time to myself to recharge. Should read that book for sure!

  12. Too funny! I think wouldn't mind a job where I only had to leave the house once a year. :D

  13. This book sounds perfect! Introvert here could use some affirmation sometimes, and when it arrives in the form of cartoons... all the better.
