Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme was a Halloween Freebie. And since I've already done Halloween-inspired posts on my favorite Halloween movies, classic monster movies, and my top 5 classic monster books, I thought I'd go with 10 book covers that have that Ghostly/Gothic vibe I love so much instead. Here they are:
1. A Murder in Time by Julie McElwain
2. Dark Desires by Eve Silver
3. The Creeping by Alexandra Sirowy
4. The Stone Child by Dan Poblocki
5. Ruined by Paula Morris
6. The Restorer by Amanda Stevens
7. The Haunting of Beacon Hill by Ambrose Ibsen
8. The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff
9. Cauldstane by Linda Gillard
10. Sleepy Hollow by Dax Varley
Happy Reading!
Oooh, I love me some creepy Gothic vibes! I think I've read RUINED, but that's it from your list. I need to take a closer look at some of these.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Hi, Susan! I haven't read most of these either. :)
DeleteI'm intrigued by all of these books.
ReplyDeleteMy post.
I haven't read most of them; I just really liked their covers.
DeleteLove 7
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool one, isn't it? :)
DeleteI do like The Restorer covers. Too bad the romance frustrated the heck out of me! :)
ReplyDeleteThat frustrated me about those books, too!
DeleteThey are all great covers! I haven't read any of those books, but I've always wanted to read something by Linda Gillard.

ReplyDeleteMe, too! :)
DeleteI love looking at spooky, mysterious or creepy covers. An old creaking gate, a gothic looking house, fog and other things are great on covers!
ReplyDeleteThose covers are the best, aren't they? :)
DeleteI read The Restorer years ago, even before blogging, and really liked it. I also found a copy of The Creeping during my library makeover. In fact, I "found" a lot of books I didn't know I had bought.
ReplyDeleteIt's your own bookish treasure hunt! :D
DeleteThis is a neat post. I generally like looking at book covers. I particularly like atmospheric and spooky ones. I like all your choices, but I think that my favorite is Ruined.
ReplyDeleteI really like that one, too. :)
DeleteI love the cover vibes you got going here! They make me think spooky reads.
ReplyDeleteSeemed like a good month for ghostly covers. :)
