  1. Hi Lark, Very noce Haiku reviews and it reminds me I was taught Haiku poetry in grammar school, maybe high school but I never followed up regarding haiku poetry. I wish I had. Beantown Girls sounds interesting.

    1. Hi, Kathy! There are so many books out there set during World War II right now that sometimes they all seem alike. But I liked learning about the Red Cross girls that followed the troops in Britain and Europe. In Another Time is another good WWII book about 'lumberjills' in Scotland. I liked that one a lot, too. :)

  4. I read Undead and Unfed a while back. Love zombie books, and these were fun. Can't remember if there was a 3rd book, though. I'll have to check out Tracking Game. Sounds like my kind of read. Great reviews, Lark! :)

    1. Thanks, Rachel. Undead and Unfed are fun zombie books; I don't think the author's written a third book...though I would read it if she did. :) And I think you'd like Margaret Mizushima's books.

    1. Both Undead and Unfed are fun zombie books. And because they're YA they don't get too graphic or gross.

    1. Thanks! Some books are easier to sum up in a haiku than others. I got lucky with these. :)

  13. Haiku reviews! My favorite! I haven't read any of them, although I'm a Deaver fan. At least of some of his books. I haven't read him in a while, though. Glad you enjoyed all these for the most part!
