A fun romantic adventure...

 Something Wilder by Christina Lauren

3 Things I loved about this book:

💗 It's set in Canyonlands, Utah --which made it very easy for me (being from Utah) to visualize the awesome scenery the characters were riding and hiking through.

💗 There's a treasure hunt! I loved how Lily and Leo pieced together the clues and figured out the secret codes left by Duke Wilder as they searched for Butch Cassidy's legendary lost treasure.

💗 Lily Wilder and Leo Grady. I loved how these two characters came back together after being apart for the last ten years, and how they had several honest and heartfelt conversations in order to work through their past heartbreak. Their chemistry and steamy romance was pretty great, too.

With plenty of action, humor, friendship, mystery, heart and romance, this was a captivating and fun book.

Happy Reading!

  1. I enjoyed this except for the misunderstanding/breakup which seemed so unnecessary and the fact that the father came across as such a jerk.

    1. I excused their misunderstanding at the first because they were both pretty young, and also because they were both willing to admit blame for their own actions later and not let the angst continue.

    1. Arches near Moab is so amazing! It's one of my favorite Utah spots. And Canyonlands is very near there, so it has similar scenery.

    1. It was a fun story! I didn't feel like trying to summarize the plot, because I'm lazy like that, so I went the easy review way and just listed 3 things I loved about it. ;D

  17. Sounds like a great summer read - light and fun, but not overly fluffy. And the treasure hunt is the icing on the cake. I'll have to remember this one for next time I am in the mood for a contemporary romance.

  21. I enjoyed THE UNHONEYMOONERS by Lauren, so I might have to pick this one up as well. Utah settings are always fun since, like you, I can imagine the scenery so vividly, having been there many, many times.
