  1. Very nice list, Lark. My husband has read almost everything that Brandon Sanderson has written. I've read some of Ally Carter's books. Utah has a lot of great authors.

  8. Utah!! How fun - I had no idea so many interesting authors are from there. My son and I really liked Brandon Mull's books, back in the day when he was young enough to read stories with me. :)

  10. I visited Utah on a business trip many years ago. I wish I could remember where specifically but I loved it. Utah is a great state. I was thinking of reading Keeper of Enchanted Rooms and sometime this year I need to give this novel a try.

    1. I really enjoyed Keeper of Enchanted Rooms! I'm hoping to read the sequel to it this summer. And there is a lot of cool places to visit here in Utah. I love the red rocks of Southern Utah and hiking in the Rockies myself. :D

  13. This is the first list I've read today where I can say that I have read at least one book from each of these authors. Go, me! Also, I had no idea that Ally Carter lives in Utah. Very cool.

    Happy TTT!

    1. Oops! That's my bad. I meant to put Ally Condie! Blame it on lack of sleep and doint this post in a last minute rush. 🙃

Anyway, thanks for this and thanks for visiting my post:

  16. Impressive. I do not know these but it's cool to get in some Utah authors. I had to look up which authors were from Utah: apparently Edward Abbey and Wallace Stegner! Orson Scott Card. I have read one of each of theirs. Fawn Brodie too. Interesting.

    1. I obviously went with more recent authors, but I did think about including Edward Abbey on this list.

  17. I did not know Utah had so many famous authors. I knew about Orson Scott Card and thought about Paige Shelton but I just checked and she just moved to Arizona! How rude of her. ;-)
