Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme: BOOKS ON MY FALL 2025 TO-READ LIST.
Which is always an easy one...my TBR list is long and constantly growing. But here are 10 books I am definitely planning on reading this fall:
- Ghost Business by Jen DeLuca
- Dying Cry by Margaret Mizushima
- A Judgement of Powers by Benedict Jacka
- Death at a Highland Wedding by Kelley Armstrong
- Her First Mistake by Kendra Elliott
- The White Road by John Connolly
- An Ancient Witch's Guide to Modern Dating by Cecilia Edward
- Bad Luck Charm by Julie Johnson
- The Paranormal Ranger by Stanley Milford Jr.
- Skinwalker by Faith Hunter
- If All Else Sails by Emma St. Clair
Counting to 10 is obviously not my strong suit. But this list could have been even longer, there are so many books I want to read before the end of the year. What books are you hoping to read this fall?
Happy Reading!
I'll soon be starting a set of 20th century History books covering 1914-1983 but will be giving myself a 'free pass' for the Fiction I'll be reading in between. So far I'm 'planning' to read:
ReplyDeleteFour Seasons in Japan by Nick Bradley
Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
The Progress of a Crime by Julian Symons
Sherlock Holmes and the 12 Thefts of Christmas by Tim Major
Crimson Snow Edited by Martin Edwards..
All of these sound really good! Especially that Sherlock Holmes one. :D Happy reading!
DeleteI hope you enjoy all of these. An Ancient Witch's Guide to Modern Dating sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like fun doesn't it? I'll let you know if I end up loving it.
DeleteThis is a great idea to map out one's books for each season. Here are some of the mysteries I plan to read:
ReplyDeleteHarbour Lights Mystery by Emylia Hall
Cursed To Death by Bill Crider
Moonflower. Muders by Anthony Horowitz
Murder On Washington Square by Victoria Thompson
I love that Victoria Thompson series! It's one of my favorite time periods, and Frank and Sarah are such great characters. :D
DeleteHappy reading. Have a beautiful day.

Thank you, Regine! I hope you're doing okay.
DeleteAs one who never plans her reading much in advance, I have to admire your list. I hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dorothy. I'd love it if they all turned out to be 4- or 5-star reads. Always the bookish dream, isn't it? ;D
DeleteHave fun with these, Lark! I'm going to be working on a couple of mystery series this fall and maybe looking for a spooky book or two.
ReplyDeleteIf you find a really good spooky book let me know! I'm always on the lookout for one of those. :D
DeleteI had a hard time keeping it to 10 as well! A Judgement of Powers is on my list and I plan on reading Ghost Business soon even though I didn't include it. Hope you love all on your Fall TBR! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm very excited for Jacka's new one. And I just checked Ghost Business out of the library. Fingers crossed it doesn't disappoint. :D
DeleteI like lists! Fall ones too. I look forward to hearing about Death at a Highland Wedding.
ReplyDeleteIt's a series I've been enjoying. I love that Scotland setting.
DeleteGreat list! I’ve always been curious about Kendra Elliot’s work. I’ve heard wonderful things about her. Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI love her Mercy Kilpatrick series! :D
DeleteI like lists like tgese. The best recommendations from blogger.
ReplyDeleteI so agree! :D
DeleteI was surprised how much I enjoyed An Ancient Witch's Guide😁 Looks like you have some fun books coming up!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to reading that one. :D
DeleteI haven't thought about what books to read since I have about 200 books on my Kindle to read.
ReplyDeleteWell that will keep you busy all fall and into winter. ;D
DeleteSo many great books! Hope you enjoy them all! I'm eager to check out Emma St. Clair's book. :D
ReplyDeleteMe, too! It just looks like fun. :D
DeleteI see two on here I want to get to bas well, Ghost Business and the Ceclia Edwards book. I just mentioned on another site today that there are too many books coming out in October I want to read as well! Not to mention my current library borrows.
ReplyDeleteSo many books! And I always have too many checked out from the library, too. It's impossible to fit them all in. Though I do try. ;D
DeleteI've got so many on my TBR this fall too! New books from John Grisham and Patricia Cornwell are at the top of my list.
ReplyDeleteTwo great authors! I'm so far behind on their books, though. Maybe next year I'll try to get caught up on them.
DeleteGreat list! I'll be curious to see what you think of Ghost Business. I wish I liked the trope better because in some ways I think the story was better than the first book. There are a ton of authors on your list I want to read soon. Enjoy your reading!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting a little tired of that enemies to lovers trope. and that's what Ghost Business is starting to feel like.
DeleteI hope that you get to them all :D
ReplyDeleteMe, too! ;D
DeleteHappy reading!
ReplyDelete:D Thank you.
DeleteThe White Road is one of the best Parker books in my opinion. I think those earlier ones were slightly better than the newer ones, more detailed and interesting. I still love them all but...
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading that one! My plan is to check it out in November (because October filled up too fast with other library books).
DeleteI've read Death at a Highland Wedding, and really liked it! I love that series, and pretty much anything by Kelley Armstrong. :) Hope you enjoy your fall reading!
ReplyDeleteKelley Armstrong is one of my favorite authors, too. :D
DeleteI hope you enjoy all of these. I love the title- If All Else Sails!! :)
