Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's theme is a School Freebie. So I went with ten books I really enjoyed reading that have a school setting. Here they are:

Prep School Confidential by Kara Thomas

Good Girls Lie by J.T. Ellison

I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You by Ally Carter

School Spirits by Rachel Hawkins

Gentlemen & Players by Joanne Harris

The Lake of Dead Languages by Carol Goodman

The Great Brain at the Academy by John D. Fitzgerald

Under Locker and Key by Allison K. Hymas

The Semester of Our Discontent by Cynthia Kuhn

The Faculty Club by Danny Tobey

Honorable mention:
The Trouble With Angels
(My favorite Haley Mills movie)

Happy Reading!

  2. Good idea. I've read a few books by Joanne Harris but not this one. Must check it out.

I went with something similar, some books set in school, others having the words "school" or "teacher" in their title.

    2. Oh, that's interesting. They were also my favourites. I wasn't impressed with the last one I read, A Cat, a Hat and a Piece of String, so I abandoned her for a while. I guess I should try another one. Thanks, Lark.

  3. I think I've that Ally Carter book in my pile and I bought it a few years back ago! Not sure if I'd read it, though. That's the problem of having too many books, huh? ;p And I love that cover of The Faculty Club. Looks so intriguing!

  5. I absolutely love school settings in books. The only one of yours I've read is Gentlemen and Players and that's one of my all-time favourite books. I don't know why but it just got to me somehow. :-) The Lake of Dead Languages has been on my radar for years, any good?
