Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme is supposed to be Books on My Fall 2022 To-Read List, but I'm going rogue and doing Books with September in the Title instead.
September by Rosamunde Pilcher
September 17 by Amanda West Lewis
The September Society by Charles Finch
The September Sisters by Jillian Cantor
The Last September by Nina de Gramont
The Fourteenth of September by Rita Dragonette
The Fortnight in September by R.C. Sherriff
The Septembers of Shiraz by Dalia Sofer
The September Girls by Maureen Lee
77 Days in September by Ray Gorham
Happy Reading!

ReplyDeleteFun twist on the topic, Lark! I had no idea that September was used so often as a title!
ReplyDeleteMe either! But a lot of these books look really good.
DeleteOhhh, The September Society cover looks ominous — and of course, just like my type of read!
ReplyDeleteAlso, this is Verushka from Pop. Edit. Lit.
DeleteHi, Verushka! I agree, The September Society looks awesomely ominous. I want to read that one, too. :)
DeleteOh, wow, September is my favourite month, autumn starts and it's my birthday. But I haven't read a single book with that word in the title, I'll have to get a few of yours.
ReplyDeleteI had to find something else, as well, since I haven't read most of the books on my last list. So, I did a completely different challenge.
Hi, Marianne! I've only read Pilcher's September on this list, but there are several others I now want to read. :)
DeleteSeptember by Rosamunde Pilcher is on my tbr list. Great list of books! Happy reading.
ReplyDeletePilcher is one of my favorite authors! I think you'll really like September. And thanks for commenting. :)
DeleteI had no clue there were so many books with "September" in the title.
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot, isn't there?
DeleteIt strikes me that all those books with September in their titles must be as good as the month itself. Well that's my view anyway. :-D
ReplyDeleteThey do look good. I've added several of these to my TBR list. :D
DeleteInteresting titles there and some that I will be adding to my own reading list.
ReplyDeleteI added several to my own reading list. ;D
DeleteGreat list! I had no idea there were so many September books! I've actually read one, Septembers of Shiraz, and remember that it was very good.
ReplyDeleteThat's one that I want to read now, too. :)
DeleteWow, books with September in the title is a great prompt idea! I have not read any of these but I have heard of A Fortnight In September, as it is published by one of my favourite publishers, Persephone Books. It's definitely one I would like to read at some point! Happy TTT!

A Fortnight in September does sound like a good one. I haven't read it yet either, but I want to. Thanks for commenting!
DeleteThis is a fun topic! It's neat to see all the different kinds of books with September in the title. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was fun finding them for this list...and I like that they're all so different.
DeleteWow, I had no idea there were so many books with September in the title!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's always so much fun to do these monthly lists. I discover new books every time. :D
Delete77 Days in September sounds good.

ReplyDeleteMy post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-books-on-my-fall-2022-to-read-list/
I haven't read it, but it does look like a good one. I'll have to check it out. :)
DeleteWho knew there were so many books with "September" in the title? I don't think I've ever read one...
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I've only read one book on this list, so you're not alone. ;D
DeleteI haven't read a book by Rosamunde Pilcher in years!! She's so good, I need to pick up one of her books soon.
ReplyDeleteI love that you went rogue this week!
Rosamunde Pilcher is such a favorite author of mine. I love her books, too. :)
DeleteThat first one looks so autumn-ish! And Fortnight in September looks fun. :)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it? :)

Thank you!
DeleteWhat a neat list. The September Society sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing these September books. I appreciate your visit to my blog.
ReplyDeleteI want to read The September Society! :)
DeleteI didn't realize there were so many books with September in the title. Your lists always surprise me, lol. :D
ReplyDeleteHere's my list: TTT
I had fun putting this list together. (Plus, it was super easy!) :D
DeleteThe months seem like one of the popular choices for book titles. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised at how popular. I wonder if it holds true for October and November.
Deletelots of books with September in the Title.
ReplyDeleteIt's a little surprising!
DeleteThose look like good ones.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of them look like good reads, too.
DeleteI can tell I'm tired because I somehow missed your explanation and it took me 3 books to realize they all had September in the title! I've only read September and the first book in that series by Charles Finch. I liked both of them. It's amazing how many great looking books have September in the title!
ReplyDelete:D I'm running really tired these days, too!
DeleteThis is very clever indeed! I haven't read any, but it's a great list to keep for next year September....
ReplyDeleteElza Reads
Thanks! I'm thinking of trying to read one book each month next year with that month in the title. It would be fun to see if I could do it.
DeleteNice adjustment for the topic this week. I don't think I have any books with the month of Sept in the title.
ReplyDeleteI only own September by R. Pilcher. But I do want to read some of the others.
DeleteGreat list! I've only read A fortnight in September but, I do want to read the Pilcher book as well.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good one! But then I love Pilcher's writing.
DeleteI've never read Rosamunde Pilcher but I keep meaning to. Look forward to you review.
ReplyDeleteShe's written a lot of really good books. You can't go wrong with any of them. :D
DeleteCool topic! I didn't know there were so many September books. I don't think I've ever read one.
ReplyDeleteI've only read the first one on this list.
DeleteI have read the Nina de Gramont novel! September is a great time of year so perfect for a title. I need to read Pilcher's!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good one!
DeleteFun! I'm sitting here and can't think of a single title that has September in it so well done on finding 10. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was actually pretty easy; I just did a keyword search on my library's catalog. ;D
