Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's theme is books with a certain word in the title, but you get to choose the word. As I was perusing my bookshelves for ideas and inspiration, I noticed that I own a lot of books with 'shadow' in the title. So, here's my list of  TEN BOOKS WITH THE WORD SHADOW IN THE TITLE. (All of which I've read, own and love.)

When Shadows Dance by C.S. Harris

Delia's Shadow by Jaime Lee Moyer

Out of the Shadows by Kay Hooper

The Shadowy Horses by Susanna Kearsley

The Library of Shadows by Mikkel Birkegaard

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller

Shadow Land by Adam Wright

The Shadow Girls by Dawn Merriman

The Secret of Shadow Ranch by Carolyn Keene

Happy Reading!

  4. Ha! Fun topic for a post. I could do ten shadow books, too, and only one overlap Shadow of the Wind. (Though I did get rid of all of my Nancy Drew books years ago, or I have had two.)

  7. That's an interesting list. I remember reading that Nancy Drew mystery long, long ago. Like Ashley, it was a favorite of mine. I read "Shadow of the Wind" a few years ago and awarded it three stars, so not a favorite but not bad.

    1. I have to admit I really liked Shadow of the Wind, enough to read the other four books he wrote that kind of follow it. :D

  8. Great choice for a word! I didn't think of that one. I tried a few, but "Dead" was the one I picked. I wanted one where I read and loved the book. It's been a million years since I read a Nancy Drew. I need to check out the others on your list. The Shadowy Horses looks good! Great list! :)

  18. Shadow is a great word. I've only read one of your books (The Shadow of the Wind) and that was fan-tas-tic. I found six books altogether, so this might be a good topic for Top Five Tuesday.

  19. Shadow is a wonderful choice. I know there has to be tons of books with it in the title. What memories, after seeing it here, I remembered that was once of my favorite Nancy Drew books ever. My mom enrolled me in a club when I was young and I would get two Nancy Drew books in the mail every other month. I looked forward to that mail so much.
