Have you heard these guys?

The Hu is a Mongolian band that combines traditional Mongolian instruments and throat singing with a hard rock sound. I'm a little obsessed with them. (Thanks, Will!)
This is their song Yuve Yuve Yu.

    Thanks for sharing Lark. A very interesting music video where The Hu, who I had never heard of, tap into there Mongolian history and ancestry. I know pretty much nothing about Mongolia. Looked the country up on the map and its located between China and Russia but now having heard The Hu I'd like to learn more.

    Wow pretty awesome. I wasn't sure at first if I liked it but by the end I was hooked. and now the song is in my head. :) Also LOVED the landscapes. amazing!

      It does get stuck in your head, doesn't it? I find myself humming the chorus yuve yuve yu at odd moments. :)

      My nephew ran across them and knew that I love a good hard rock sound in my songs, too, so he played some of their stuff for me and I was hooked. :)
