Happy Reading!
Love your Haiku reviews. And they all sound good (well they would as we like the same books, LOL).
ReplyDeleteWe really do! :D
DeleteLove the haiku reviews!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteLove your haiku reviews. Notorious sounds great. Allison Brennan's books keep popping up everywhere for me. I guess that's a sign that I need to read one of them. :D
ReplyDeleteThat's what happened with me! I kept seeing her books every where and felt like I needed to try one. And I'm really glad I did. :)
DeleteYour Haiku reviews are so clever, I always admire how you can tell what the book is about in just a few words. Well done!
ReplyDeleteKind regards,
Thanks, Bettina! It works better with some books than with others. But the haikus are fun to write.
DeleteHappy Singles Day sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very cute read. :)
DeleteI've heard such great things about Brennan's writing!
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely read her again! :D
DeleteOoh Notorious love that cover! And Cut Off has me curious. Another striking cover although not sure about the reality show aspect. Notorious looks like one I should add though... :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely give Notorious a try. It's a really good read! :)
DeleteYour haiku reviews are always so well done! I'm loving the sound of Notorious too. I'll have to keep that one in mind the next time I'm in the mood for a good mystery.
ReplyDeleteI checked out another one of Allison Brennan's books about Max Revere and am enjoying it as much as Notorious. I think I have a new series to read. :D
DeleteWhat an innovative spin! I read a few haikus last month, and grew to really like them - and now I see some haiku reviews here. The premise for Cut Off looks interesting, though I see it didn't fare as well as Notorious.

I've been doing my haiku reviews since June of 2018. They're fun to write, especially when you don't want to write a longer review. And it was the ending of Cut Off that made me drop it down to 3 stars.
DeleteNotorious sounds like a great read! I'll have to keep this book in mind. As always, I enjoy reading your haiku reviews. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melody! And I think you'd like Allison Brennan's writing. :)
DeleteAdorable approach to reviewing! Love your haikus!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteHaiku reviews would be a wonderful meme. I often want to read reviews of books, but I don't want a lot of information. This size is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThey're easier to write than long reviews, too. :D
DeleteOooh, CUT OFF sounds good. I love survival books as much as you do! In fact, I just finished THE COLD VANISH on your recommendation. Fascinating!
ReplyDeleteThe Cold Vanish is such a good read! Who knew so many people disappeared like that every year?
DeleteLove Haiku reviews! I'm thrilled you're starting Max Revere! She's kind of a witch with a "b" instead sometimes, lol, but she's got a good heart!:)
ReplyDeleteShe can definitely be abrasive at times, but I like her strong independence. :)
DeleteSo Notorious was the winner of these three. Good to know!
ReplyDeleteIt was my favorite, although I did really enjoy Happy Singles Day, too. It was a fun light-hearted romance. :)
DeleteHappy Singles Day sounds lovely 💕
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun read. :)
