Summer TBR List...

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week there's a different theme. This week's theme?

Books on my Summer 2022 To-Read List:

The Wedding Plot by Paula Munier

Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

The Hidden One by Linda Castillo

The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

Mulberry Hollow by Denise Hunter

The Bodyguard by Katherine Center

My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey

The Dark by Sharon Bolton

Sleeper 13 by Rob Sinclair

Turn to Me by Becky Wade

Winter's Mourn by Mary Stone

Pay Dirt Road by Samantha Jayne Allen

I like to read a mix of mystery & suspense and fun romance in the summer.
What about you? What's on your summer reading list?

Happy Reading!

  1. Looks like a good and varied list for summer. I want to get into The Thursday Murder Club as I just noticed the 3rd book of the series will be coming out soon.

    1. It's sad how quickly you can fall behind in a series. It feels like The Thursday Murder Club just came out! ;D

  5. I don't do lists. I'm more of a spur of the moment decision reader. Your list sounds interesting though.

    1. I like to do short lists like this just so I don't end up forgetting any of the books I really want to read next. Otherwise, titles start to fall through the cracks...or disappear into the abyss that is my TBR list. ;D

  6. The Thursday Murder club is such a unique title.

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

  7. Thursday Murder Club! I'd forgotten all about it, and I hear there's a sequel out there too. Must get to it soon, if only my reading slump would sort itself out.

  23. I like your list and the way you've structured it to encompass several genres because it's too easy to get bogged down otherwise. I don't have a specific summer reading list, but I'm hoping to add to the number of books published in the '40s and '50s that I will have read this year.

    1. I'm a bit of an eclectic reader and like to choose books from lots of different genres, otherwise I get bored. Your plan to read more books from the 40s and 50s sounds like fun. Are they mostly mysteries? Have a great summer, Sam! :D

  24. Great list, Lark. I will also be reading The Bodyguard soon. What rating would you give Paula Munier's books for profanity and love scenes? I think her book The Wedding Plot sounds great and I know you enjoy her books.

    1. I've read all of Munier's books about Mercy and her dog, Elvis, and while there is a romance between two of the characters, I don't remember there being any sex scenes, and the swearing, if there is any, is minimal. I'd give them a PG rating.

  28. I set up seasonal TBR lists and invariably, I read only half the titles. But it's still fun to choose the list! Your list looks like a great mix of romance and mysteries/thrillers. I hope you get around to all of them, and that they live up to your expectations.

    1. I'm excited to read all of these, but I know what you mean about hardly ever reading all the books on a list like this. too many other books out there. But I'm hopeful I'll manage it this summer. :)
