Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme is supposed to be BOOKS WITH ONE-WORD TITLES. But when I looked for one-word titles on my TBR list, I only found five. So I switched it to Books with One in the Title instead, because I found twelve of those. Here's my list:
The One by John Marrs
The Plus One by Mazey Eddings
The Last One by Will Dean
One Monsoon in Mumbai by Anitha Perinchery
One Year Home by Marie Force
One Day by Gene Weingarten
Believe No One by A.D. Garrett
One by One by Sarah Cain
Happy Reading!
Looking forward to reading The One with you, Lark! And I've The Only One Left by Riley Sager, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading The One next month, too. And I'm hoping The Only One Left turns out to be another good one from Sager. :D
DeleteIt’s interesting how many books contain that word!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I was surprised I had that many titles on my TBR list! Who knew. ;D
DeleteFun! I just finished The Only One Left, and I have The Last One to read soon. There are a lot of "One" books on my shelf too. I recently read One Summer in Savannah!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good one. I'll have to go check it out on Goodreads...and then add it to my list. ;D
DeleteSo many books with "one" in the title! Who knew?
ReplyDeleteI never dreamed I had this many books with the word one in the title sitting on my want to read list. But it made for a fun (and easy!) TTT list. :D
DeleteNice twist on the topic! If I were doing this one (and who knows, maybe I will someday!), I'd include One Plus One by Jojo Moyes and One Day by David Levithan. Hmmm, must make a note of this for next time there's a freebie :)
ReplyDeleteIt does make for a fun and easy post. which is always a good thing in my book. :D
DeleteFun list, Lark! I had no idea there were so many books with "one" in the title. :)
ReplyDeleteMe, either. And apparently, I want to read a lot of them! ;D
DeleteI’ve heard good things about The Only One Left.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I really like Riley Sager, so I have high hopes for that one.
DeleteI like how you used titles with "one" in them. It was fun to see what you chose.
ReplyDeleteThey were just random books from my TBR list this time around, which made this list super easy to put together. :D
DeleteRiley sager is an author I want to try.
ReplyDeleteJust don't start with Survive the Night. Home Before Dark, Lock Every Door, and The Last Time I Lied are all better reads.
DeleteNeat twist, Lark. I haven't read any of these but several look interesting. Thanks for visiting my blog today.
ReplyDelete:D I haven't read any of them either, but I'm hoping they're all as good as they look.
DeleteGreat twist on the prompt, Lark! I've been seeing The Only One Left around the blogosphere a lot lately.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a good one, doesn't it?
DeleteNice tweak, Lark. All of these are new to me. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHey, Cindy! You have a great week, too. :D
DeleteI wonder how many one word titles I have in my shelves. This is a nice adaptation. I have The Last One by Will Dean to read. I enjoyed First Born by him so I grabbed that one up. Great list, Lark!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading The Last One. I hope it's as good as it sounds. :D
DeleteOooh! I love how you had a different twist to this week's topic! Love these titles! Great list!

DeleteOh, that was a cool way to spin the prompt!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun seeing how many books on my TBR list had the word one in the title. I wasn't expecting to find so many. :D
DeleteSuch a great idea for this challenge, I love how you can always tweak them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my TTT this week.
I just got lucky that so many books with One in the title were on my TBR list when I was looking for one-word titled books. ;D
DeleteI will definitely keep that idea in mind. I know we once had one with numbers one to ten or something like that.
DeleteYeah, I remember that TTT post, too.
DeleteIt was a nice one.
DeleteSmart! I only had ten books with one-word titles on my TBR list, so it worked perfectly. Apparently, I prefer long ones...
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Most of my TBR list is made up of longer titles, too. :D
DeleteNice twist on the theme:-) I really want to read Riley Sager's new book:-)
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a good one, doesn't it?
DeleteLove your spin on this week's topic. Hope you get to all of these soon Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/my-top-ten-favorite-contemporary-romance-books/
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting! :D
DeleteFun take on the topic and wow there are a lot of titles with One in the title! I definitely want to read some of these.
ReplyDeleteAnd these are just the ones on my TBR list! I'm sure there are more titles out there with "one" in them.
DeleteI love your twist on this week's topic and that you found a lot of great titles for your list. I really want to read that new Riley Sager. I've seen a lot of good reviews for it, unlike his last couple of books.
ReplyDeleteOh, very nice twist! I haven't read any of these yet, but your first two books are on my tbr!
