  1. Happy to see that Michael Connelly cracked your favorites list this year. I think you'll really enjoy him - and he has a huge back catalogue to play with. Coincidentally, I just started reading his second ever Harry Bosch novel, The Black Ice, yesterday. It's a 1993 novel. I still have a few of the Bosch novels to enjoy, and I love them as much as ever.

    1. I have several of Connelly's books on my TBR list for next year. I like knowing that I have a good book waiting for me in the wings, so to speak. :)

  2. I haven't done my 'best books of 2021' yet (family only went home yesterday so still catching up) but when I do I'm pretty sure The Cold Vanish will be right at the top of the non-fiction. Chatting about books with other bloggers is indeed WONDERFUL!!! :-)

  10. I've enjoyed Michael Connelly's writing for years and I'm glad to see you've discovered him. You have a lot of good reading ahead of you.

And I totally agree with you about the best thing about blogging. I so appreciate the readers who take the time to comment on my blog and engage in conversation. It makes one feel as though we really do comprise a community.

    1. It does feel like a community, doesn't it? So many of my co-workers never even have time to read, so I can't talk books with them. But I can chat books online, and it's great. :)

  14. Someday I will read the Rockton series. A couple of my romance reads made my top 15 list this year, but I haven't read any of the ones you read. Yet. Favorite snack is a great category. LOL Mine would probably be popcorn, mostly thanks to my daughter who always wanted me to make some for her and then I couldn't resist having some for myself. I hope you have a Happy New Year, Lark!
