Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme is: Books I Enjoyed, but Have Never Mentioned on my Blog. Which left me with quite a list to choose from, because while I've been reading my whole life, I've only been blogging since the end of 2012. So, I scanned my bookshelves for some favorite reads of mine that I've never posted about. Here are ten of them:
The Alliance by Gerald Lund
The Assignment by Mark Andrew Olsen
Booked To Die by John Dunning
Interred With Their Bones by Jennifer Lee Carroll
Something From the Nightside by Simon R. Green
The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
Superpowers by David J. Schwartz
Stately Pursuits by Katie Fforde
The Flanders Panel by Arturo Perez-Reverte
The Lake of Dead Languages by Carol Goodman
When Venus Fell by Deborah Smith
Oops! I think I just did twelve books instead of ten. Oh, well.
They're all good, and I enjoyed reading each and every one of them.
Happy Reading!
Oh, oh oh, Something from the Nightside!i can’t tell you how much i adored that series!! And I was much the same i enjoyed this thoroughly, but never reviewed it.
ReplyDeleteThe Nightside series is so much fun! And I love John Taylor. He and Shotgun Suzie are such great characters! :D
DeleteI need some light reading Katie Fforde is just the ticket. Already requested one from Netgalley. There are three new books there.
ReplyDeleteKatie Fforde is awesome. I love her books. :)
DeleteHow beautiful is the cover of When Venus Fell?!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that great? And the story inside is even better. :)
DeleteI have not read The Woman in White and wonder if it's worth a read? cheers!
ReplyDeleteThe Woman in White is definitely worth reading. I loved it!
DeleteGood one, Lark. I'm glad you could find so many. The only book from your list that I read - and really enjoyed - is "The Woman in White". But then, I absolutely love classics.
ReplyDeleteI've had more trouble finding some books I never reviewed, so my TTT this week is all about trilogies.
I love reading the classics, too....when I can fit them in with all the other books I want to read. Can't wait to check out your TTT. :)
DeleteI love The Woman in White! I read a lot of Wilkie Collins books before I started blogging so have only reviewed a few of them on my blog.
ReplyDeleteThe Woman in White is such a good read...just talking about it makes me want to reread it. :)
DeleteI haven't read any of these! I love the old school covers on some of these.
ReplyDeleteThey're fun, aren't they?
DeleteFabulous post
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
DeleteThe Lake of Dead Languages! Oh, man. I had forgotten about that book. It's one I picked up on sale around the time it came out. I think I loved it. I can't remember much now!
ReplyDeleteI really liked it...but then it does have that private boarding school setting I'm always drawn to. :)
DeleteI don't think I've seen Something From the Nightside before, but I just looked it up and it sounds fantastic. How did I miss this series? :D
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun! The Nightside is such a crazy setting, and the main character, John Taylor, is so likable. :D
DeleteI've actually read and reviewed A WOMAN IN WHITE since i've been blogging. It is a wonderful classic. My list of big books
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful classic! One of my favorites. :D
DeleteI really like Goodman's books. They're always so atmospheric and creepy!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
She does write a really good book. I haven't read her newest ones yet, though, so I need to catch up. :)
DeleteThe Woman in White is so good!
ReplyDeleteMy list this week: https://speedyreadercom.wordpress.com/2022/02/28/8-books-i-enjoyed-but-havent-mentioned-on-my-blog/

DeleteNice list! Stately Pursuits sure looks like some fun!
ReplyDeleteI think all of Katie Fforde's novels are a lot of fun. And Stately Pursuits is one of my favs. :)
DeleteI'd have a hard time stopping at 10! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe Woman in White & The Flanders Panel were both great.
I always find it challenging to limit any list of books to just 10! ;D
DeleteThe only one of those that I've read is The Woman in White and I did mention it on my blog! https://www.thenatureofthings.blog/2017/01/the-woman-in-white-by-wilkie-collins.html
ReplyDeleteYour review of this wonderful novel was spot on! :D
DeleteNice list! I think I've read one of the Nightside books, though I can't remember now if it was this same book, or one of the later ones in the series. I also can't remember anything about it, so I guess I should re-read it...
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://bookwyrmknits.com/2022/03/01/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-enjoyed-but-never-blogged/
:D That happens to me all the time...thinking I've read a certain book, but not really remembering much about it. It's one of the reasons I decided to start blogging. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteI have not read any of these and I think the only author I have heard of is Kay Hooper! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI really like Kay Hooper's books, though I haven't read any of her most recent ones. :)
DeleteThe Woman in White is one I really want to read.
ReplyDeleteI really like that one! It's such a classic mystery.
DeleteJohn Dunning's series is excellent!
ReplyDeleteI love it all of the Cliff Janeway mysteries! And I was very sorry when Dunning stopped writing them.
DeleteI haven't read any of these but I recognize Carol Goodman and Kay Hooper, and I've read other books by these authors. Oh and Wilkie was mentioned on another blog not that long ago. I'm going to look up more info about your choices, so thank you!
ReplyDeleteThey're all books I really enjoyed reading, so I'd definitely recommend any and all of them. :)
DeleteI don't think I've heard of any of these books!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog earlier!

DeleteI’d like to read Stately pursuits.
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute romance. :)
DeleteIt is fun to look back at books we've never reviewed. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is! It also gives me a new list of books that I want to reread. ;D
DeleteSeveral good ones here! I like that Katie Fforde and I also enjoyed Interred With Their Bones. The Woman in White was a good book club book but not a favorite.
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to know what books we share and have both read. :)
