This week's theme is supposed to be favorite bookstores, or bookstores you'd love to visit. But I don't really have a favorite bookstore any more. So I went a little rogue and decided to do Favorite Bookshop Books instead.
Here they are:
How to Find Love in a Bookshop by Veronica Henry
The Lost For Words Bookshop by Stephanie Butland
The Lost and Found Bookshop by Susan Wiggs
The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman
The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan
The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald
The Last Bookshop in London by Madeline Martin
The English Bookshop by Janis Wildy
The Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap by Wendy Welch
The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop by Lewis Buzbee
Happy Reading!
What cool cover art and titles. This was a fun topic.
ReplyDeleteSome top ten lists just write themselves. :)
DeleteI need to read Nina Hill. I've heard so many great things about it. Nice list!
ReplyDeleteI loved that one!
DeleteOh, I love your take on this week's theme. Bookshops are the best! And, yes, what better place to fall in love?
ReplyDeleteBookshops are the best! :D
DeleteLove your take on this week's topic! I love Bookshop books too :)
ReplyDeleteThey're some of my favorite books. I just wish there were more of them out there to read. :)
DeleteLooks like we had the same idea this week, Lark. I absolutely love it that you also chose bookshop books, and we only have one in common, Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend. I'm looking forward to looking into your other books.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT this week is on books about bookshops.
It was so fun to see you'd had the same idea as me this week! Great bookish minds think alike. ;D
DeleteOkay... this is the second post in less than five minutes to remind me that I need to read The Last Bookshop in London. Hopefully, I'll pay attention! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's a bookish sign! ;D
DeleteThis is so good. I didn't have any bookstores to highlight either, so I went with something else. But, this is a terrific twist on the topic. I love that bookstore that Nina Hill works in!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great bookstore! I wish I had one just like it where I live. :)
DeleteThey all sound so great! I actually own The Last Bookshop in London so I must get to that soon.

ReplyDeleteThanks! All of these books are very fun reads. :D
DeleteBooks about bookstores and reading drive my husband crazy. Ha!
ReplyDeleteNot as bookish as we are then, is he? ;D
DeleteThis is such a popular pivot for today's topic. I'm amazed at how many books feature bookshops. Hardly any of the books I've read even mention books and reading, lol.
ReplyDelete:D I got lucky that I'd read so many bookshop books because it made putting this list together super easy.
DeleteI almost did this same topic. It's a fun one! I love books about and set in bookshops, but I've actually only read two of these. I'll definitely look into these others.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I enjoyed all of these, even the last two nonfiction ones.
DeleteI love bookshops in books! I absolutely love that first cover, and I love the Bookshop on the Corner too.
ReplyDeleteBoth of those are amazing reads. :D
DeleteGreat minds think alike! My list this week is very similar to yours!

ReplyDeleteSorry if this is a duplicate comment. I would of swore I commented lol! But I've noticed my comments have been disappearing on some blogspot blogs. Weird but I have some go to spam too- must be the same problerm still going on. Ugh Blogger...
Your first comment did end up in spam, (stupid blogger!) but I rescued it. Thanks for commenting again! :D
DeleteI used to see a lot of books set in bookstores but not as much now.
ReplyDeleteBooks seem to go in waves.
Delete'bookshop' settings are catnip for me. Loved your idea for replacement.
ReplyDeleteCatnip...or booknip? ;D
DeleteThis list just makes me smile because I love books set in bookshops. :)
ReplyDeleteI love them, too! :D
DeleteBooks about bookstores and set in bookstores make me soooo gleeful!
ReplyDeleteThey're the best, aren't they? :D
DeleteHow have I not read any of these? I love books set in bookshops!
ReplyDeleteI do, too! And all of these are very fun, very good books.
DeleteGood job finding these. I have not read any but like when bookshops are featured in novels. Which is your fav of these?
ReplyDeleteThat's a hard one! Probably How to Find Love in a Bookshop, The Last Bookshop in London, and The Bookish Life of Nina Hill. I loved those three. :D
DeleteWhat a great take on this week's theme! It stumped me a bit so I skipped it. The Last Bookshop in London was one of my favorite books of 2021 and I loved The Bookshop on the Corner. I have The Bookish Life of Nina Hill, How to Find Love in a Bookshop, and The Lost and Found Bookshop but all of these look great!
ReplyDeleteI'm always on the lookout for a fun bookshop book. They're some of my favorite reads. :D
DeleteGreat twist on the topic! I've also read and enjoyed The Bookshop on the Corner and The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend. Nina Hill is on my tbr. :)
ReplyDeleteI recently finished reading Nina Hill and totally loved it! :D
DeleteGreat twist on the top ten topic, Lark. I love books set in bookstores and bookshops. I've read five of these books, so that means I have five more to check out.
ReplyDeleteIf you know of other good bookstore books, please let me know!
DeleteAnother wonderful Top Ten--I've only read The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop and have the Wagon Wheel one, and the rest, of course, appeal to me tremendously. What an excellent genre!
ReplyDeleteI love these kinds of books...both nonfiction and fiction! But what's not to love in a book about books? :D
DeleteI like your take on TTT. Love bookshops and when they're featuring well in a story. :)
ReplyDeleteBookshops always seem to add a fun element to a story. :)
DeleteBookish themes are always so fun to read, aren't they? I notice that "bookshop" titles are as popular as the months titles. ;)
ReplyDeleteI know I'm always drawn to any book with bookshop in the title! ;D
