Yay on your haiku reviews, Lark! I'm adding all these books to my wishlist. :)
ReplyDeleteThey're all very fun romances. :D
DeleteMy Phony Valentine... you had me at hockey player. :)
ReplyDeleteRight? That's what made me pick it up, and I'm so glad I did. It's super fun. :D
DeleteYou had me at tacos! Love the haiku reviews as always.
ReplyDeleteIt just made me laugh that they'd meet up for tacos after all their bad dates. :D
DeleteLove Wager sounds fun. Tacos... :)
ReplyDeleteAnd the hockey angle I like too, I'm with Tanya on that one.
I loved the hockey angle in My Phony Valentine! Sport romances are a lot of fun. :D
DeleteThree highly rated books - wow! You've had some good reading lately.
ReplyDeleteI needed some good books after my run of so-so reads...and these were light and sweet and funny and really hit the spot. :D
DeleteOh these all sound like great beach reads!

They would all definitely be perfect beach reads this summer. Thanks for commenting. :D
DeleteLove a good fake-dating romance with a hockey player that's just icing on the cake! Any romance that adds cute animals is a win for me. I want to try more Painter as this was my one and only read by her and the conflict was a bit weak..in my opinion of course, lol! Glad you enjoyed it a little more than I did. Great haiku reviews, Lark!
ReplyDeleteThe conflict was a bit weak in The Love Wager, and maybe that's why it worked for me because I'm certainly not in the headspace for major conflict of any kind right now. And cute animals (and hockey players!) always make a romance more fun. :D
DeleteThank you for sharing. Regine
ReplyDeleteThese books were fun to read...and to write haikus about. :D

DeleteI love the sound of all of these! I have the Love Wager on my TBR and am going to add My Phony Valentine to my wish list.
ReplyDeleteI really loved My Phony Valentine; I hope you like it, too. :D
DeleteYou do so well at these Haikus. terrific.
ReplyDeleteThey don't always work out for every book, but I think these haiku reviews came together pretty good this time. :D
DeleteThese haikus are great! So clever :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I had fun writing them. :D
DeleteThese books are not really the kind I like, but as always I love your haiku reviews :-)
