Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's theme is supposed to be a list of ten things you love about a certain book. But that was too much like writing a review for me. So, I'm going rogue.
Here are Ten Fvorite July Reads From the Last Ten Julys. Just because it's really fun to look back and see what I was reading through the last decade.
I'd forgotten that I'd even read some of these, but I loved them all.
If you're looking for a good book, check any of these out.
Happy Reading!
What a fun topic! I haven't read a single one these, but Vanishing Girls sounds very good!
ReplyDeleteIt's SO good. One of my favorite mystery series.
DeleteThis is so fun! I haven't read any of these yet, but Mickey 7 and Charming are on my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteThose are two of my favs on this list! Especially Charming. :D
DeleteNice TTT post! All new books to me! Happy reading!!
ReplyDelete:D Thanks!
DeleteI agree that it is fun to look back at what one was reading at a particular time. It is also interesting to reflect on how one's reading tastes may have changed over the years.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to see how your reading changes over the years. And I love remembering these past reads. Some I wouldn't mind reading again. :D
DeleteI enjoyed The Widow's House several years ago. I like Carol Goodman's writing and she has a new one coming out next week or maybe the week after that. Yay!
ReplyDeleteCarol Goodman has written some very good books. I want to check out her new one, too. :D
DeleteI agree listing ten things you love about a particular book does feel like a review. And also there are books I have loved but it's hard to come up with 10 separate reasons. Instead. maybe 3 or 4 big reasons I loved a book is more doable.
ReplyDelete3 or 4 reasons for loving a book is definitely more my blogging speed! ;D
DeleteIt looks like you've read some fun books over the years!

I've gotten lucky. :D
DeleteI really need to start looking back over the years like this, so fun. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt is really fun! Seeing these books again brought back some warm and fuzzy feelings.
DeleteI like looking back too. Fun topic! I enjoyed The Widow's House as well. I'm looking forward to her next book coming out this month.
ReplyDeleteI like Carol Goodman's books, though my favs are still her earlier ones.
DeleteI like this topic better! July is usually thriller month for me, so I love that you feature such variety of genres on your list.
ReplyDeleteI was a little surprised there was so much variety, because I tend to read a lot of mysteries and thrillers in the summer, too. But I'm a bit of an eclectic reader. :D
DeleteNice! You read different genres than I do most of the time so it's always nice to see what others are enjoying.
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been MIA for almost 2 weeks. My internet was out and I had a hard time getting on blogs with my phone. But it's fixed now and I'm making my way around to all the blogs I love.
Hi, Mary! I'm sorry you were without internet for so long. That's so frustrating! I would hate not to have access to the internet. Glad it's fixed and you're back. :D
DeleteSuch a fun take on this weeks prompt! I'd like to go through and see my favorites for the past years!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do a post of it if you do! They're a lot of fun. :D
DeleteOh I love this twist! I've never read any of these, but I recognize some authors. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to look back and see what you were reading a decade ago....and to see if you still remember the books! ;D
DeleteI love this idea, Lark. Sometime I will try this out for myself. I haven't read any of these, and of them, I would most like to read Lost Among the Birds.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great memoir! I loved it. :D
DeleteThis is a great idea and I enjoyed seeing your list! I really enjoyed Charming and meant to read more of the series, but I never did. Whispers Beyond the Veil has been on my TBR for awhile now.
ReplyDeleteI liked both books...but especially Charming! What a fun and magical read. :D
DeleteI loved this idea! So fun to see some throwback books here too. I remember reading Invisibility years ago, though I honestly can't remember whether or not I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Invisibility. I always wished they'd write a sequel to it.
DeleteThe East Africa bird novel piqued my interest. I have not heard of that one ... but novels set in Africa interest me. thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt's a charming book...and one of the few books set in Africa that I've read that isn't sad or depressing in some way.
DeleteI've read and really liked The Virginian too! More than expected, and don't often see it in people's reading lists. Lost Among the Birds looks charming, might be just what I'm looking for right now
ReplyDeleteLost Among the Birds is a really good book. And I wasn't expecting to like The Virginian as much as I did either. But it was a fun read. :D
DeleteVery fun concept, and I've actually read a few of these! I'd forgotten about Invisibility --- such a good read!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good read. Going back in time with this post reminded me of a lot of books I really enjoyed reading. Kind of makes me want to go back and reread some of them.
DeleteWhat a fun topic! I've had The Widow's House on my TBR for awhile so I'm glad to see it on this list.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of Carol Goodman; I haven't read all of her books, but I've really liked most of the ones that I've read.
